What a surprise. A team that can’t even get a coin toss right messes up while drafting. This team is a complete joke. I’ve seen clown shows more put together than this team .
Then why follow this team? Quit complaining. If you're constantly unhappy with the team and ownership, go follow another team. Very simple.

A spinal injury ended Irvin' career 1999. Moose ended his career one month prior due to a neck injury.

Taken from his wiki page ...
"Irvin was carted off the field on a stretcher and the play proved to be his last. He sustained a non-life-threatening cervical spinal cord injury and was subsequently diagnosed with a narrow spinal column (cervical spinal stenosis), which forced him into early retirement"

That means we wasted the top draft pick from the last 3 drafts essentially, assuming we let Amari
Cooper walk (which is very likely now).

2017: Taco Charlton
2018: Leighton Vander-Esch
2019: Amari Cooper

Factor in who we drafted after the 1st round, and it’s starting to look like a crippling series of draft classes. Chidobe Awuzie, Conor Williams, Trysten Hill, etc.

Our drafting trajectory is headed towards early to mid-2000’s...not good.

We have been talking about this for while now. Dallas was probably given too much credit too soon for being good drafting team. I will always say - good drafting team puts their teams into the playoffs consistently. Big contracts don't equal a good drafting team.

3rd most wins since 2016 will slap you in the face every time. Even with this cluster F of a season this yr. 2016 this team dominated and lost to a non call by a ref vs GB. In 2017 they make the playoffs without the NFLs witchjunt of Elliot. Last yr they make the playoffs. This yr can be forgotten. Stop trying to force your lie in this not being a good team with good talent from good drafts.

So we drafted a linebacker in the 1st round who has a genetically compromised neck since birth? And we expected his neck to be durable enough for tackling 230lbs muscular tanks 150+ times a season?

The draft and roster management strategies of our front office seems to be regressing rapidly. The trajectory looks closer to the Dave Campo years...it really is the most ominous storyline surrounding this team. Not Jason Garrett (official scapegoat)

Jaylon in 2016 is close to first round. He's looking like a bigger disaster than LVE. His contract is guaranteed for injury until 2022.

It was a terrible pick. They used a premium pick on an injury prone player and then forced him at a position he's not suited for.

They literally got signficantly better play from Cooper/Leary who they didn't even spend a pick on for crying out loud.

Williams saving grace now is maybe being a swing tackle next year. You don't spend top 50 picks on freaking swing tackles (especially a team like the cowboys who need top picks to start since they refuse to get starter level free agents)

Swing tackle and swing guard. He's a valuable piece. Likely starts a lot of games regardless, and may slide into a full time starting role if Tyron's back becomes career ending, which seems less likely than it did in 2017, but is still a significant possibility.

And maybe ... blocking TE!

We've turned LBs into FBs in an offseason. Should be easier to turn Williams into a blocking TE. Blocks better than any TE already. Just teach him a few 3 yard routes for short yardage.

Williams only looks like a bad pick because we took a deal on Collins. Williams still may start at LG if McGovern doesn't beat him out. I'm not going to cry about having great depth on the oline. Sure needed it this year.

He should at least be a part of the jumbo packages.

This! Had a cousin with the same thing and this is not a hang nail and everything is fined. He decided against playing again in order to have a life. Now he can play again but you are playing Russia Roulette, it like the bodybuilders who take steroids and willing to chance it later in life what could be the situation later. Money is not everything and somethings are more important. Ronnie Coleman former Mr. Olympia look at him before and now, he has something on Netflix you can check out.
What’s wrong with Ronnie? Dude was hobbling into the gym on braces, popping a handful of painkillers and leg pressing several hundred lbs. I don’t understand the problem.

The roster management has been bad since the 90s.

The guy is completely broken down from years of doing what he did and could barley walk and needing assistance. Trust me he is not fine whatsoever.
