So you fess up to being a brat...my Grandfather carried a duffle bag in Normandy. My Father took 184 depth charges on the US Plunger in the Sea of Japan. My Brother made a training manual that was used in Naval Air Station in Kingsville,Tx...for entry level Navy Pilots on jets. Me, I served 23 years and was a NCO for 19 years after attending the US Air Force Academy following a Congressional Appointment from Senator Kika de la Garza......and your point really is?
In 1959 (5 years old), I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Although pretty physically fit, the services didn't accept diabetics for military service.

I live on CC also. I'll be happy to meet you to discuss this further

Not a problem...God doesn't call all for military service and my Brother and Son both died from diabetes. Childhood is the toughest to monitor. My prayers stay with you and stay monitored. Drink plenty of good water! Enjoy your Cowboys. Go Cowboys!! :starspin:

I thought Jimmy targeting the players and Jerry worked the trade. That is usually the owner's responsibility, right?
That is the job of a GM. With Jerry, of course, he wore both hats and that was understood by Jimmy's first signed contract with Jerry. That was a legal contract and binding upon Jimmy and he had full knowledge of that fact as well.

its all about Jerruh
Yeah, he was the owner and did NOT over step his position, Jimmy Johnson did. Jimmy created a stink when the Prince of Saudi Arabia was given a tour of Dallas Stadium, when he didn't have any right to make a news item out of Jerry doing an act of International relevance there in Dallas.

And 28 years later, here we are.

Tom Landry built this team and made them champions.

Jerry hasn't built anything but maintained mediocrity.
Biased, and not true...it all evolves but some fan's attitude.

Murchison built the first team...and from nothing. The rest accumulated over time!

How bout a conference champ game? Cincy, Buffalo, Jax, Tenn, Atlanta, Carolina, have all done atleast that. Suddenly the list of futility gets pretty short. Think this team beating SF or Philly this season? Nope.

Then have to pay Micah and Lamb. Valuable rookie contracts wasted with no results.

Your point is what? I know they’ll be extended for top dollar. What this organization doesn’t do is sign guys like Bobby Wagner

Yup, and Cleveland fans were saying after the game to tell them about it.

I come from a military family. My father was 2 years Navy in WW2 and 20 years in Air Force flying 3 tours in Korea. I highly respect military service. But serving doesn't give a fellow the right to speak to people the way he does on a fan site. This is supposed to be a fun site with differing opinions. I've been a fan for over 50 years and have earned the right to voice my opinion, no?

That's pretty spot on
Again, thank you for your service. Even if it was dad

It was wonderful watching them win championships and have success in the playoffs.

I pray you guys under 30 will experience it one day
Fan here since 1970 (I was nine). Have three sons - all ardent fans in their late twenties - two of whom were infants when the Cowboys won their last Super Bowls. Hoping we can all witness a return to glory before Dad "kicks off."
