???

20th = 850
28th = 660

190 points = 16th pick 3rd round.

Yes, thanks for the correction. I was looking at the 29th pick for 640, and have no idea why I seen it as the 7th round pick. It is small print, and I am due for getting my eyes checked in a few months.
:laugh:.
I think I seen the overall number of the pick and not the points value.

This can't be right Jazz. Any pick in the 7th round can't hold a value of 210 points. Are you sure about that chart?

I was corrected on this, as I looked at it completely wrong. Still trying to get my coffee in me, plus small print. :laugh:

If the Broncos want Romo, the Cowboys need to have him redo his contract and trade pick 28 and Romo to Denver for pick 20. I can't see them releasing Romo when they can do this and how in the world is Houston not trying to get Romo? The Cowboys trading Romo to Denver seems to make sense and is the best fit for Romo.
Only if they throw in Siemian as well

I would still rather trade back from 28 and get an early 2nd and 3rd
We could still take a late 3rd and Siemian from DEN

That would give us
Siemian
34- SF
60
66-SF
82-DEN
92

instead of
20- DEN
60
92

Would be sweet to pull that off.
I do think the SF trade would be our 1-28 for their 2-34 and 4-98 though (vs 3-66)
our 660 for their 668 (560 + 108)

I could live with this.
Get a back up QB, drop down 8 spots, pick up 2 more in top 92 picks. We can get some good players. Possible starters and depth, much needed depth that can turn into starters.

All those won't be gone. Some will last. They always do. There is no need to trade up in this draft. Far too many good players to be giving away picks or value in Romo.
Maybe one or two of them would be there at 28. All of them could be there at 20 or even another player higher on their board. Pick 20 will be a much better pick.

I am hoping they get desperate for a QB in the 1st like DEN last year... that 5th year is big for a QB

If SF goes Garrett with #2 they might need a DWatson at 28

But better than 28 + 82.......odds say take more players

I like this idea and would be on board, unless there is someone we love that won't make it to 34...i read your post in a rush and almost said we get what from Denver, but gotcha. Lol.

We would probably have to do this way before the Draft to get the physicals done

Siemian is also coming off shoulder surgery

Totally agree, I'd much rather have a 3rd rounder and shoot for another Maliek Collins than get a marginally better player in the 1st.

The difference between a pick at 28 and a pick at 10 is huge. The difference between 20 and 28 isn't a big deal.

It can be a very big deal. If it isn't a big deal, Denver should want to do the trade.
