Am I the only one who thinks this is a moot issue because The boys are going to win tomorrow night?
Who knows what they'll do, but they should stick with the rookie. Going back to Romo is asking for another year of failure. Is it a real possibility they go back to romo for the lions game? I could see it happening, especially with jerrys comments lately.
I want the boys to win, but the manner in which they win will indicate things to come, if Dak comes back strong and effective in the passing game , and offense starts eliminating self inflicted wounds , that will bode well for playoffs.Am I the only one who thinks this is a moot issue because The boys are going to win tomorrow night?
We do, all the others keep getting moved to the QB zone, where all threads go to die. LolYes Zeke had over a hundred yards and we didn't not give him the ball in the second half... If we continue to give him carries in the 3rd and 4th quarter, we win easily.
Getting Dak on track all starts with the run game. Once they stack the box with 9 players things will open up...
We have the best offensive player in the league. It is time to take advantage of it
That's what the offseason is for. His mechanics aren't terrible, he just needs to form better throwing habits.
Wentz on the other hand...his throwing motion needs some serious work.
Moon was a gifted passing QB playing out a run and shoot and could throw the ball. McNabb was know to throw duds, but he played in a West Coast with TO and could throw the deep ball, though his accuracy at times was questionable.
I'm not sure of either comparison is valid.
Nobody is limiting him I think. His limitations as a rookie are apparent, but you have to, in this league, be primarily a pocket passer.
If we struggle because of Dak? Or because of our running game (Zeke 2nd half vs Giants), OL pass protection poor last few games, recievers not getting separation (Dez too), etc. Romo hasn't played in a game with full contact in awhile (practice qb's don't get hit).
And despite that defensive strategy, Linehan, the seasoned veteran play caller, didn't call one single first down play action pass. The running game wasn't working in the second half because they were bringing a safety down at the snap putting 8 sometime 9 in the box on 1st n 2nd down. Dak needs to make them pay for bringing that safety down he has to attack that 1 on 1 on the outside. Problem is Garrett n Linehan don't have the confidence in him to tell him to attach it. Dak needs to grow some balls n change the play n do it himself. They are just waiting for him to show some confidence. But he's not showing any n that is why he is regressing.

More like asking for the best chance at a sb
Romo isn't wired to win a Super Bowl. He's an undrafted overachiever that's beat up now. Our best chance going forward is with the rookie.More like asking for the best chance at a sb
