If the offense struggles again and we somehow lose again

No chance at a SB with Dak in there not with these vanilla game plans last few weeks anyway. Other teams watched how they stopped the running game in the second half. They saw that Dak did not change the play and attach the 1on 1 on the outside and that Linehan didn't call for a big shot down field or run any play action. EVERYBODY n I mean everybody will do this to us until Dak takes more shots vertically down field on 1st n 2nd down.

You do realize I'm calling for Romo to start right?

Romo isn't wired to win a Super Bowl. He's an undrafted overachiever that's beat up now. Our best chance going forward is with the rookie.

Ummm no our best chance at a sb is not with the rookie. Seeing as how no rookie in NFL history has ever made it to the sb. Our best chance is with the now healthy pro bowl qb we have on this team

Sure I agree with you Romo if healthy should play. I'm glad they didn't rush him back, I'm glad we got this opportunity to evaluate Dak. Prob is Romo might not be the player he was. I went back and looked at the preseason game against Miami. He didn't look good before the injury. He may be toast. If he is this coaching staff has got to show a little more confidence in Dak. We can't keep running into 8 n 9 man boxes n putting yourself n 3rd long.

Give Zeke 40 touches and we will easily win this game. Enough is enough. Makes me sick how we don't get him involved in the passing game. He should be getting minimum 30 carries a game and at least 10 targets
Zeke should be used the way the Steelers use leveon bell. If there's one thing I like about the Steelers, it's the way they feed their playmakers.

This has been hashed out for awhile now, but I will play again. If Dak struggles again at home in a dome, chances are that he will struggle in the playoffs. Do you let him continue through the post-season struggling? Is it fair to his teammates to go through his growing pains in this miraculous season? It is not like we just squeaked in at 10-6 in a slightly above average season and a win would be nice but not expected.

You don't go in as the #1(or #2) seed with a QB who may have hit that wall and/or the offense figured out. The Tampa game will tell us a lot of what is to come. Play well and still lose, Dak stays. Play well and we win, Dak stays. Play bad whether we win or lose........it should be Romo time.

With that said, I expect that he will turn it around. Get back to basics, use Witten and Bease more with lots of running.......from Zeke, DMAC and Dak himself. This is the perfect game to silence his doubters. I would like to see improved mechanics and quicker reads :flagwave:

Good post!

Your healthy x-probowl overachiever was okay in 2014, but it's 2016 now. He's a porcelain doll now, plus he's never been out of the 2nd round of the playoffs. So you have an over achiever, and a guy who's never been out of the 2nd round of the playoffs, plus a china doll. We're better off with the 4th round rookie from here out.

When you say foolish stuff like this you look like a clown with an agenda.

McNabb was winning playoff games with scrubs long before TO arrived.

You can be a pocket passer and a mobile QB in the same game if the situation calls for it.

McNabb was choking before TO arrived. But that really isn't the point, which is who is a pocket passer. McNabb technically was to an extent. Dak hasn't really shown it yet, primarily operating out of shotgun in college and over here, play action. We will see though..

Damn, every time I see the word McNabb, I think of McRibbs! I'm hungry now. This post is about as relevant as most others on this thread.

How long has Romo been around with the Cowboys and how often did we get into playoffs or past 2nd round? How long has Dak been with the Cowboys and how soon did we clinch playoffs?

DAK isn't hurt and he isn't playing like Brandon Weeden where we lose every game.

Case closed. Let's roll with Dak.

He was 3-5, his first two passes off. The last three absolute strikes.

I actually watched the pre-season injury for the first time ever, I don't bother with preseason, and I actually am not surprised at all with his back injury, considering the position the way the Seattle player fell on him while he was sliding.

Young or old, anybody's vertebrae could fracture in that manner, quite easily. A herniated disk in fact would be no surprise minimum.

How slow motion running was an issue, but guy was far and wasn't active all season.

Jerry does and says a lot of things, but he doesn't, and never has, decide who plays.

If the O struggles like last week, I'd imagine It's possible they go with Romo. What if the O struggles and we still win ( Ala Vikings game)?

either way the coaching staff is gona get drilled if we fail to win the big game. its gona play one of two ways...

1. why the hell did we play the rookie w Romo in the bench? why? why? why? dumb. we couldve won it w romo!!

2. well there u have it! romo came in for dak and wasnt able to accomplish the goal once again! we should of left the rookie. we couldve used his legs and gotten him the experience. Romo needs to retire.

im fully expecting for dak to bounce back this week. itll be a good test vs this defense. if he doesnt i dont think jerry will be able to control himself and is gona put Romo back in.
