6 games and we move on
I know this is not going to be very popular but, If it had been in the 80's and 90's and you were at a Marti gras type event and this girl did have beads around her neck she had been collecting. We all know how you get them or the gist if you have them and around famous people. If the top comes down...well, i'll just say you had put your self in a very unfavorable environment if you are offended by any actions that might occur. I'm still not saying what Zeke did was right, but if you walk into town with steaks strapped around your neck a stray dog or two might follow you around. just sayin.
Wasn't ConceptCoop another ousted troll last year or the year before? His name rings a bell and his recent posting is highly dubious. Is it time to drain the CZ swamp yet?
From the NFL domestic violence conduct policy:
"Violations involving assault, battery, domestic violence or sexual assault will result in a baseline six-game suspension without pay, with more if aggravating factors are present, such as the use of a weapon or a crime against a child. A second offense will result in banishment from the NFL."
Zeke just used his one free strike. A second and he's out of the league forever. We've already seen how much control the NFL has over this process, and that won't be changing anytime soon.
Zeke had character flags on draft night, and we've seen them come to fruition. His parents said they were worried about him handling fame. His college coach said he's worried about him. Joey Bosa had to change roommates because Zeke partied too much. There were rumors of drug use, which text conversations all but confirmed. The writing was on the wall. The risk was too great.
On the field, Zeke is special and absolutely worthy of the investment. But how can anyone here feel good knowing that the next time the league decides he assualted someone, he's out of the league for good? And that's all it takes: the league deciding it happened.
If Zeke's lawyers pull out a miracle, I'll gladly eat my words. But if Zeke is truly is on his last strike, he's wasn't worth the investment. He has a lot of growing up to do and no margin for error.
Time for Zeke to put himself under 24 hour video surveillance, for his protection, from women trying to blackmail him. I'm sorry, but if you want to date Zeke, you will need to sign this video authorization form.Wow. You might have a hard time grasping this. All he has to do is not hit women.
I'm concerned that you see such a low bar problematic
what!!!! from talent perspective he is generational, so lets not forget. does his off field behavior creatre concern? yes. but to say NFL wasn't on a witch hunt is to say snow is green. lets not forget this was a debacle by NFL. they wanted to make a statement. they used Zeke, a star, a pro bowler, a well known player to make an example and to show they are serious about DW.From the NFL domestic violence conduct policy:

Fair enough. I chose my words poorly. My main point was that our valuation of him moving forward should be significantly adjusted. Of course it's not fair for me to use hindsight (assuming the suspension holds) to suggest it was wrong at the time. Especially after the rookie season Zeke had. Even if we can agree that Zeke had red flags, that doesn't mean it is reasonable to suggest they should have seen a DV strike coming. I'll absolutely own that.
Unfortunately we have a history now with Jerry as GM taking these risk recently . He's responsible for the current culture we're trying to overcome. From the NFL domestic violence conduct policy:

Zeke is a knucklehead and he'll do something else that's stupid because he just doesn't get it so enjoy his talent while we have it.
It took him a whole year to find himself in this kind of situation. He's taking the Johnny Mansfield path out of the league.
How am I a troll? If Zeke hits a guy tomorrow the NFL could kick him out of the league. I'm not endorsing the policy, I'm pointing out that the next time Zeke messes up could lead to his banishment.
Go find another team to cheer for.Unfortunately we have a history now with Jerry as GM taking these risk recently . He's responsible for the current culture we're trying to overcome.
For some reason Jerry believes the culture here can overcome these off field issues players have? We've been burned several times now in the draft and acquisitions .
I'd argue these risk is the key component that has stifled us building a greater team especially on defense with these risk. Fans have focused on some of the better decisions being made like with our Ol, cap moves, etc which I'd agree but these high risks are negating these better moves and why our front office deserves continued criticism.
It shouldn't have taken 6 or 7 years to rebuild our team. We still basically have only rebuilt one side on offense and that is basically been successful because of our 4th round lucked out pick at QB who wasn't intended to be our future.
Yes, some luck is necessary but to give all of this credit that Jerry has moved over and all of this credit goes to Stephen these continued risk certainly still have Jerry's stamp on them.
Wouldn't the second offense also have to be DV related to lead to "banishment"? But boy, does the term "banishment" have some nasty historical connotations or what? Is this 17th century Salem?
