Ignore list makes it a lot quieter. They are a lot quieter the last couple of weeks aren't they. I wonder why...![]()
Then why not abandon the team altogether?Because we haven’t won consecutive playoff games in 30 years, we average one wild card win every 7 years, and that’s the ceiling with Jerry as the owner and GM.
I’m proud of this team this year so far, but until we win consecutive playoff games, It’s just business as usual. 30 seasons of playoff futility has a way of numbing hard core fans and I’m beyond numb.

Sooo....you think that's Jerry? Lol...dude, they have scouts. Jerry is influenced on making the draft pick...lol. I really can't believe you think Jerry just go in there and draft players like that...lolYeah, that's why he draft Mazi and Schooner and let the DLine fall apart, because he knows what he's doing, yeah, that's it.
How did you put that? "Read what you said."
I can choose 100 other threads on THIS site that would be considered the problem. If you think this threads like THIS is the problem....then there's another thread that needs to be made....lol.Sort of, but the hyperbole and hysteria do nothing but exacerbate the problem.
Keep it straight, this is a spat between cheerleaders and venters, nothing more nothing less. Threads like this one are the problem. The incredibly lying, insulting, and attacking happen because of crapp like this.
Exactly what was your intent in starting this thread?
Because I was born a Cowboy fan in the Landry era and I will always be a fan. I didn't ask to have a fool run the team into the ground, but here we are. Then why not abandon the team altogether?
I'm from the Landry era as well. Jerry is a great owner but poor GM. It's something as fans we have to live withBecause I was born a Cowboy fan in the Landry era and I will always be a fan. I didn't ask to have a fool run the team into the ground, but here we are.
All Cowboys fans have been and are living with it.I'm from the Landry era as well. Jerry is a great owner but poor GM. It's something as fans we have to live with
I understand we have to live with it, and I appreciate your viewpoint but I can't agree Jerry is a great owner.I'm from the Landry era as well. Jerry is a great owner but poor GM. It's something as fans we have to live with
And then the lions game happenedThis thread is still going? I thought we found some brotherhood 7 pages ago.
That's fair but the Cowboys were almost bankrupt when he took over. Jerry was really the main character that grew the NFL exponentially. He was the key figure that got all the sponsors and a big part of the TV deals. As far as GM, he's been hit and miss. But all GMs are.I understand we have to live with it, and I appreciate your viewpoint but I can't agree Jerry is a great owner.
Is he? A great owner would have tossed his poor GM in the dumpster 25 years ago.I'm from the Landry era as well. Jerry is a great owner but poor GM. It's something as fans we have to live with
Dude, Jerry is the GM. Do you really not have any idea how corporate structures work? Do you know what a GM is and what his duties are?Sooo....you think that's Jerry? Lol...dude, they have scouts. So you're OK w/ the owner of your team employing the worst GM in the NFL and insisting on keeping him in that position?I'm from the Landry era as well. Jerry is a great owner but poor GM. It's something as fans we have to live with

Suggestion for both to solve this argument. Go to DallasCowboys.Com, click their Deep Blue Media section with the Cowboys Documentaries. There are at least 2 long ones called War Room Part I and part II (I think, it will be obvious either way) and will show you exactly how it's done. Jerry has no problem with sticking cameras anywhere, you can literally see how they decide. They cover many of our better known players and drafts the last 25 years.Dude, Jerry is the GM. I can't believe you don't know the simplest of concepts.
And since the GM of any NFL team is in charge of personnel, that doesn't matter either!!!Suggestion for both to solve this argument. Jerry concurs!why can't the fans? I've never seen so much negativity after every win then from Cowboys fans...especially this site. They are going to win and they are going to lose. If you're a true Cowboys fan, you support them....period! This group is special....and I don't mean that in a good way. Kudos to the fans that are true ride or die fans. You know who you are. Give yourself high fives....lol
