If the team has come together why can't the fans?

We need to see a larger sample size. Excuse me if I don't get all giddy yet. It's been 30 years of getting let down. However, I think next season we just might have reason to be giddy and come together. I'm a bit reserved on 2025. Proud of this team nonetheless.

I'm from the Landry era as well. Jerry is a great owner but poor GM. It's something as fans we have to live with

I understand we have to live with it, and I appreciate your viewpoint but I can't agree Jerry is a great owner.

That's fair but the Cowboys were almost bankrupt when he took over. Jerry was really the main character that grew the NFL exponentially. He was the key figure that got all the sponsors and a big part of the TV deals. As far as GM, he's been hit and miss. But all GMs are.

Dude, Jerry is the GM. Do you really not have any idea how corporate structures work? Do you know what a GM is and what his duties are?

I can't believe you don't know the simplest of concepts.

Suggestion for both to solve this argument. Go to DallasCowboys.Com, click their Deep Blue Media section with the Cowboys Documentaries. There are at least 2 long ones called War Room Part I and part II (I think, it will be obvious either way) and will show you exactly how it's done. Jerry has no problem with sticking cameras anywhere, you can literally see how they decide. They cover many of our better known players and drafts the last 25 years.

And since the GM of any NFL team is in charge of personnel, that doesn't matter either!!!
 
No matter what I'm a DC fan. We vent here and gripe about our opinions because we care. I care and someday I believe we can win the SB again. I watched the hail mary on TV at 12 years old and I will keep the faith always. GO COWBOYS!!!
