As fans you look at the past or how things are right now. What will happen as the season progesses is anyone guess. I'm not claiming SB or playoff, I'm not claiming we can't win in post season. I hope Garrett is back because in my view he will be back if this team finishes strong and plays well in post season. I have got to the point I don't care what other fans want, I want Dallas to win that is my team and the team I follow I don't follow fans and I really have gotten to the point where the whinners I could care less what they want. All I can tell them find a team that makes you happy and operates the way you think they should.

If some Cowboys fans aren't careful they are going to develop a whiners complex like a Cubs fan. I mean it is amazing to read some of this stuff. I don't care what anyone says, there is an element of our so-called fan base that WANTS the team to lose right now. That is just crazy.

Of course there is a point. Look at these teams barely making it and winning it all.

Dallas should be that kind of team because of the players we have but if our coaches play not to lose then we'll lose.

Last year, on a lark I created an account at a Saints forum. They were 6-8, embroiled in a season without Sean Payton due to Bounty Gate, and going nowhere. I posed as a Saints fan (later I was ratted on by a couple of cockroaches) and suggested it would be better to tank the last 2 games against Dallas and Carolina to improve our Draft slot. An idea often floated here.

I am pleased to say that not one Saints fan that I recall agreed with that idea.They all thought it was stupid, even though they had no shot at the playoffs.

I like those Saints fans. Some of our fans could learn something from those fans.

i'm down on my boys this year, but i'm not THAT down on them, where i count them out in the playoffs. if we make the playoffs i'm ALL IN. i'll deal with the disappointment whenever it comes, but i'm not just gonna say we can't win. forget that. thats a loser's mentality.

I disagree with you on Garrett, but I applaud your attitude, and that is the kind of Cowboys fan I can appreciate.

Maybe it's me but if this team can find a way to get into the playoffs they can beat anybody. They've already went toe to toe with 2 of the best teams in the league and it's not like anyone blows us out.

The pessimist in me would agree, but we have seen team catch fire before. We only have to be hot for a brief period of time to win a SB.

Well you're certainly entitled to your flawed opinion and comprehension

If they go out and stumble and bumble, as I predicated in my post, then they won't be winning those games and it will require them backing in via the losses of the other NFC teams. I would much rather them start executing well AND make the playoffs, but if I had to choose one I would rather they turned this thing around and start playing well.
