The back might actually be healed up with years of rest. QBs don't have the same physical demands as other players. A Tony who can take hits would be gold. Don't know if it's true.

But Ware is a physical freak. He could still a lot to give as a pass rush specialist.

The upside is higher on Tony, I think.

But we're getting the tank instead. Thing with Witten was I had no doubt he could play his game til 40. He's just a big guy playing against small guys.

He didn't flourish in the 4-3 for us previously. So I do not see how it would any different now.

To be fair Ware was never fully healthy when we went back to the 4-3. If Ware was in his prime and fully healthy he would still be one of the best in our 4-3 no question
