We can't pay everyone. I think Leary will be cheaper. but I'm not sure so who would you pay?

At this moment, Leary hands down. I am usually a young futures player kinda guy, but Leary bring grit and nastiness to this line.

A year ago I would have said Collins -- hands-down.

Now I'm not so sure. I haven't seen Collins progress in pass pro like I thought he would and while he is a devastating run blocker, even there he seems to be somewhat inconsistent.

Leary has become the model of consistency AND is a very good player in his own right.

Leary. he is the better physical player.

He is one of the guys. They are better with him.
Why do we automatically assume we are better with Leary? Sure Zeke started to run better after Leary entered the lineup...but that was due to the game slowing down for Zeke not necessarily anything Leary was doing so much better than Collins.

Collins has more upside, is younger and doesn't have a degenerative knee issue.

You let Leary walk this offseason and plug in Collins.

This doesn't even seem like a question to me. The answer should be obvious.

I think he is a better player. he plays with more power and in games like the next couple with large guys inside he is a difference maker. He also to me seems like a great fit among the guys on the line...he lost his job for no reason after a minor injury last year after a great season. I don't think there is an upside collins can reach that would be any better than what Leary has become. If he is just a guard here in Dallas then collins will be succeeding just playing as well as leary is now.

he has been on the team since 13 I can't imagine the knee is an obstacle that will hold him back anymore.

Collins might have better overall talent and potential, but Leary is a better fit for the team, right now. It was an obvious difference once Leary took over.

But at the end of the day, the $ factor takes over, and Collins will be our starter next season

Collins is 23..

Leary is 27..

It's a tough call for me but I'd like to see what Leary gets paid. I imagine someone is going to give him good money. Probably Washington :(.

In 4 years Leary will be 31.. Collins will be Leary's current age.

I would probably go with Collins because of age and the fact that he still has a lot of potential but I don't know if he'll ever be the road grader that Leary is.

Mute question...I'd still keep both, and go from next season. That would allow for more selection choices in the very next draft.

It was just my opinion. I would pay leary yet I know they will pay collins after martin gets paid.

For the record I would also pay terrance williams but I don't think they will do that either.

Why can't we keep both and let Free go? Can any of our OL can play right tackle?

You nailed it....you can't have a player as good as Collins on the bench for too long.......Leary will be cost prohibitive and isn't necessarily an upgrade over Collins...it worked out his year but Leary will get starters money from somone
