Gladiator for me, wife says Sleepless in Seattle

If someone forced me to pick a favorite chick flick, it would be Sleepless in Seattle. It's one of the few movies like that which I will admit to liking and/or seeing. It seems a lot more original than traditional romantic comedy type films.

That, and I could watch 90s Meg Ryan breathe for three hours without getting bored.

Star Wars IV. My oldest daughter was 2 at the time and she could not get enough of that movie. Watching it with her and seeing her so excited is something I will never forget.

Fargo. I just love that movie. I can't count how many times I've seen it and I still enjoy it as much as the first time I saw it.

A very underrated film. I'm a big fan of the Coen brothers.

But I'd have to go with....

For some reason I absolutely love Lucky Number Slevin.

I've always like quick, witty dialog and the storyline is very good. The ending is absolutely phenomenal as well.

...Deer Hunter.

Strong throughout.

Great score. Great screenplay. Great actors. Very timely topic although wrapped in controversy.

Of course Lonesome Dove was NOT a movie but a miniseries. But a reasonable choice for something like that.

Ask me this same question each year and I would probably have a different answer.

There is no one film that to me is my favorite of all because that changes as you age.

I think in the 70's it was Star Wars

80's might have been Wrath of Khan

90's Apollo 13

and so on.

Many of those mentioned in this thread I truly love.

But to pick one favorite of all time? Really cannot
