pass rush is going to struggle? we have greg freaking hardy,our corner back situation is dire to say the least.there are still 6 RDs to improve the front 7 and i wouldnt be surprised if DE is the pick in RD 2.

I don't mind the pick, but the Pass rush is likely going to struggle again this year. And that's a bummer.

With a healthy Lawerence and Hardy after 4-6 games, the pass rush will be improved. A healthy Sean Lee makes us better as well.

Also something to remember, devin McCourty was drafted as a CB by NE and look at his status now as a FS. One of the best in the league

Yeah I heard the same thing, they are really emphasizing that he played two years at safety, and Garrett sounded like they'd probably start him at corner but be open to trying him at safety as well.

He really is a terrific player. He will be able to help that secondary in a number of ways. I think Marinelli has been wanting a tall, athletic, rangy guy to use in the secondary.

He is smart as hell too... a must after the team's experiences with Claiborne.

I like the cornerback help, but unless Hardy's suspension is lifted, we still have a major void along the defensive line going into the season. Not to mention a situation at running back that I consider murky.

Yep. He will make Dallas' nickle so much better than it was last year. Marinelli will have ways he likes to use him right away and then let him settle in to one position.

IMO this pick says a few things. 1) They dont expect a 10 game suspension for Hardy. 2) Carr and Claiborne both likey done after 2015, Carr maybe a june 1 cut. 3) drafting a premium position is also about cap economics, 5 years of cheap contract. 4) Gregory is still really iffy, I think would have rather had a pass rusher but didnt want one was highly likely to bust.

I think Brandon Carr is bigger. Obviously, not as fast. I think it's funny that this guy can cover Megatron without even stepping on the field in the NFL.
