Mahomes is top 4 in QBR. He is not struggling. His team around him is struggling, mainly his OLine.

If the offense goes 3 and out, from their own end of the field, then field position is an advantage for the opponent, giving our team's defense a shorter field to defend and vice versa.

Their career numbers are very similar and he has had a consistent elite defense, along with a HOF to be HC.

This is how I feel too. If this was a “W” instead of a loss I still would’ve felt he did enough to win. He couldn’t overcome his and the teams mistakes. But I don’t think he was the reason why they couldn’t pull out a W.

Andy Reid had a solid coaching resume prior to Mahomes and yes Patrick certainly is going to help cement Andy’s HOF career but Andy’s coaching tenure in Philly and KC prior to Mahomes certainly is nothing to sneeze at not sure if it was HOF worthy prior to Patrick but it was darn good

Not saying Reid was a nobody but if they'd stayed with Alex Smith at qb, I doubt he'd be considered a sure fire HOF coach

Drafting Mahomes was genius and you’re probably correct he was not guarantee HOF prior to Patrick

A lot went right in KC besides Mahomes but he certainly was and is the centerpiece

i don't love dak. i have been out on him for a while now, but i'm capable of (again) being unbiased) he's having a phenomenal year from a personal perspective. that's not arguable. some of you aren't able to contextualize or make separate points or coherent arguments, which is fine, there's room for it, just own it and not try to misattribute it. Dak is unequivocally having one of his best seasons full stop. AND the team is 6-6-1. Not mutually exclusive, and the latter does nothing to dispute the former. Unless you're ... you know, stupid.

I'm also not understanding what "it's year 9" has to do with him having one of his best seasons. Ok? lol. and if he has a better season next year "it will be year 10" so what? I understood folks doubting he could for this reason before hand. There's logic and precedence and no proof to that point, but now? You'd have to be .... STUPID, to make that argument.

Please enlighten me on the obvious I missed though when you made a stupid / single sentence response to MY post that had nothing to do with it.

Only thing I can think of is, at some point during the past decade, you probably said Dak made a mistake or a bad throw or missed a read. To folks like AC, Rocky, etc, that means you're a hater.

I know you have been one of his biggest defenders but I have to think somewhere, somehow, you acknowledged an error or bad decision on his part and that sealed your fate.

You cost yourself a personalized parking spot down at the Dak Davidian compound. :laugh:
