If you think Dak played well

Dak didn't have a perfect pocket the last two weeks, brother. Yesterday was jailbreak after jailbreak. When you have someone in your face or on your back in 60% of the snaps, it's hard to be calm in the other 40%. He got out of trouble and made plays. In fact, probably most of the throws he did connect on were under duress. He definitely made mistakes, but you just can't expect any QB to make up for the ineptitude of nearly everyone around him.
You’ll get a more cogent reply from a can of baked beans. Just saying.

The defense, penalties lost the game. It was one of those games where the offense had no help from the defense so ended up becoming 1 dimensional. The lazy fans like you, don’t understand that. Plus, you’re a well known hater and were praying for a loss so you could make this thread.
Aside from using your generic jibberish tag words, answer the question in this thread as to if Dak played well....do you think he did? Was he part of the problem, or should he be absolved of any blame?

Brother… no one said the pocket was perfect.
The point is how Dak reacts when it isn’t.

Some QBs stay sharp when things break down — Mahomes, Burrow, Allen, even Goff last night.

Dak?
Dak’s entire game collapses the moment structure collapses.
Happy feet, late reads, panic throws — it’s the exact pattern he’s shown for 9 years.

Pressure doesn’t make him struggle…
pressure makes him revert.

Yes, he had guys in his face — but guess what?
Elite QBs deal with that every single week.
That’s why they’re elite.

Dak only looks good when the timing is clean, the pocket is stable, and the first read is there.

The minute chaos hits, he goes from ‘top-3 stats’ to ‘bottom-tier decision making.’
That’s why people aren’t buying the excuses anymore.

Nobody’s asking Dak to win 60% pressure games by himself.
We’re asking why he melts every time the game gets physical, fast, or high-pressure — while the QBs he’s compared to don’t.

It’s not about perfection.
It’s about how you play when perfection disappears.
And that’s exactly where Dak folds every time.

Facts > feelings

. Now, I'll go back to my low IQ post with bad grammar so everyone can understand me. :D quoting the scholar popgun, good day

We've seen him play worse.

Detroit had him under duress all game.

He played about expected with poor field position, constant pressure, no real running game.

You could tell he was pressing.

Is what it is..

Not worth nitpicking to me. Lots of blame to go around.
Summed up perfectly

I’ve been consistent the whole time — you’re just mixing arguments.
Pointing out Dak’s weaknesses isn’t the same thing as saying football isn’t a team game.
You’re trying to turn two separate discussions into one because it’s easier to argue that way.

Here’s the reality:

• When people blame everything on Dak — they’re wrong.
• When people act like Dak is flawless and the team is always to blame — also wrong.

Both extremes are nonsense.
My entire point has been that Dak is not elite, not that he’s responsible for every loss.

You keep asking why I don’t chase every troll on the board…
because I’m responding to you right now.
Not running around moderating the whole forum.

But since you asked:

Dak gets blamed for the collapse games
because that’s when his limitations show up the most.
And elite QBs overcome more of that than Dak does.
That’s why the comparison exists in the first place.

That doesn’t mean he loses alone.
It means he doesn’t elevate when the team struggles — which is literally what separates elite QBs from ‘good with help’ QBs.

Nobody said football wasn’t a team game.
Just that Dak isn’t the kind of QB who rises above a flawed team.

Big difference.
"Facts > feelings.”

I'll put it to you like this. Dak isn't an elite quarterback. Stevie Wonder could see that. But Dak is a very good quarterback and thats all we have right now. There's alot of teams that would love to have Dak's skillset on their team, especially when there aren't a whole lot of options out there.

Dak, the non elite quarterback is good enough to win a Superbowl. Why do I say that? I say that because its been proven that non elite quarterbacks can when a Superbowl.
It's also been proven that having an elite quarterback doesn't guarantee you will win a Superbowl.

We both agree that this is a team game.

Wait. This wasn’t a low IQ post?

Elite qb is a myth. Because when people talk about what is an elite QB it’s literally no one in this league right now.

See, now we’re actually close to agreement — and that’s why this part matters:
Yes, non-elite QBs can win a Super Bowl…
but they only win when the TEAM is historically stacked around them.

Dilfer had maybe the greatest defense ever assembled.
Foles had an insane roster, dominant trenches, and a perfect scheme.
Stafford won because the Rams went full ‘Thanos mode’ and traded for every star available.

That’s the blueprint for a non-elite QB winning a ring:

Load up the roster so heavily that the QB just doesn’t lose it.

Here’s the problem with applying that to Dak:

You cannot build a superteam under a salary cap AND pay Dak $50–60M.

You cannot give him the 2013 Seahawks defense, plus Philly trenches, plus multiple WR1s.

You cannot erase the fact that he folds in high-pressure, playoff environments.

So yeah… in theory, a non-elite QB can win a ring.
But in practice?
Dak needs a level of roster perfection the salary cap will never allow — and pressure games will never provide.

That’s why people say he can’t win it in Dallas.
Not because he’s terrible… but because he’s the wrong type of QB to build a champion around in today’s NFL.

We agree it’s a team game — and that’s exactly why Dallas can’t overcompensate enough to cover his playoff flaws.

Facts > feelings. I think we are done.

Good to great QBs with average arm strength
Drew Brees, Joe Montana, Bernie Kosar, Brock Purdy, Peyton Manning, Jared Goff and Tom Brady.

Dak has above average arm strength

Exactly..... the lies told around here are epic.

They lie and say the man can't beat good teams, can't throw downfield, can't come from behind to win a game, etc, etc, etc, has been put to bed and proven wrong years ago, yet they still say it and he's still proving them wrong.

one more thought for the ones in the back crying.

Yep… logic hurts feelings. That’s why padded-pocket stats feel great but reality stings.

Epic lies? Nah, just reality. Dak shines in timing and structure… melts under chaos. That’s not opinion, that’s 9 years of tape.

It wasn't. We may not necessarily agree with it, but there's logic in it. It's not just "Dak sucks!", or something along those lines.
That’s just not what I saw last night. Last night had nothing to do with panicking. That performance should’ve been good enough to win with and it would’ve been.

How does a quarterback with a weak are place himself in the top 3 in every quarterback category except ints?

Give me the names of other weak armed quarterbacks who have done that.

I'll patiently wait.....
Yeah weak arm is nuts.
