Good choiceI’d guess they draft a RB.

A reasonable short term deal no more than 4 years, definitely not front line RB money.0. Move on to the next guy. Don’t give second contracts to backs. Ever.
He started when Baxter was injured, and he gained over 750 yards rushing plus about 400 receiving yards. And averaged over 5 yards per carry. Why didn't he start in college? Why did he have only around 500 yds his last year?
I have no problem seeing what he can do.
I disagree, barber ran more with lowering his head, which is what cause his brain issues in the first place. Williams run more to avoid contact while using his body to get underneath , and as leverage to get extra yardage. Their running style are not even close. He's going to command a lot of money and he's earned it. We need to see what we have in Blue. I have a feeling we won't be able to afford him but hopefully I'm wrong.
The guy runs like Marion Barber and is so fun to watch. Unfortunately, that's going to shorten his career: I'm thinking 2 years, $8 mil per season.
He runs with the same violence and tenacity, he just doesn't lower his head or slap the **** out of people.I disagree, barber ran more with lowering his head, which is what cause his brain issues in the first place. Williams will last longer than barber did with his running style. At the end of the day most RB run hard and get banged up. There is no way around that, but doing so without using your head as a battering ram is a plus.He runs with the same violence and tenacity, he just doesn't lower his head or slap the **** out of people.
Then add in that Javonte is like twice as quick to the hole as Barber.I disagree, barber ran more with lowering his head, which is what cause his brain issues in the first place. Costs goes up instrumentally if you wait and his excellent play continues. This is one offer I don't knock the Jones Boys for waiting on. Let's see if he can get through the season healthy first, and even then, I wouldn't hold it against them for not selling the house on a new contract.
Williams has the perfect speed, not too fast, not too slow. It allows for the line and blocks to set up when he runs thru. I remember when dallas has too fast runners like Julius jones who got to the line before anything could even take form on the line. He was also impatient. Then add in that Javonte is like twice as quick to the hole as Barber.
3 years $24M and $15M guaranteed. This young man has been great for us in 4 games, he's exceeded all expations to this point. If you were to offer him a contract, how much would you pay him? How many years would the deal be? Please give your thoughts!
But Coog (The season isn't even over!) I know that!!Just based on his play so far and how he's helped this offense, what would you pay him!??
Blue is not physical.None.
Blue is the starting RB next season.
RB by committee keeps the stats down, the costs down and the ware and tear down. He's a relatively young player at 25, so a 3yr or even 4yr contract would be safe. We should have an equal caliber #2 back at all times to share the load and provide insurance so we shouldn't pay him superstar money.
