Dalton looked like a guy who belongs as the backup. Not good. Slightly better than horrible given the line play. If the team around him was a little better than average, we could probably be a 500 team.
Other teams have to respect Dak's arm and legs. He masks the weaknesses of those around him. For the most part, Dak has played behind the same line and still had the pundits talking about how great they are/were. That narrative is over.
I actually hope we keep Dalton long term as the backup. But anyone who still thinks Dak isn't the real deal...it has nothing to do with his on field play. (I still think it's a mistake on Dak's part not to do a team-friendly deal)
