Great having some intelligent opposing fans stop by once in a while, I would suggest you keep a careful eye on 2nd year WR Miles Austin, this guy has the size, speed, hands to be a really good player. He's also versitile enough to field kickoffs as witnessed last year in the playoffs against Seattle.

Who will fill the MLB spot in you guys defense... Al Wilson was a heck of a player!

Al will be missed. It sucks when all of thhe sudden "poof," your defensive captain is gone. DJ Williams has all the tools to replace Al, but it may be a rough transition (with a totally new defensive scheme).

Oh okay, DJ Williams was at OLB last year, correct? He's a former Miami Hurricane so I know he'll be ready to play...

Any updates on the 3 Texas players you have would be great (Crowder, Selvin Young and DD Lewis). I see they all had decent games against SF. Is Crowder ok? I saw he got a little dinged in that game.

Crowder will make the most immediate impact. He has been a solid worker and very teachable. He's also a high character kid and should be very good for us (especially in the run-happy AFC West). Honestly, next year is a contract year for Ekuban, and Crowder is the same type of guy. If Eb wants a lot of cash, they will probably dump him and keep Crowder. Although, Ebeneezer was one of our best D-linemen last year (and also a good guy). BTW, the injury was just a shoulder stinger. He still played the rest of the game (also notched a sack).

Selvin Young has shown some real promise. I think he will get a few carries in the fourth quarter this Saturday. Since we have some decent depth at RB, I don't know if he will make the active squad, or be on the practice squad this year. RB promotions are always one injury away on any team. But, I have only heard positives about him - he hasn't been fumbling which is a good thing.

About DD Lewis. There have been 3-4 guys fighting it out for our last LB spot and DD is one of them. They have been switching the depth chart around regularly to keep them all motivated. His spot is still up for grabs but he will need to make some big plays to crack the starting lineup. It is my belief he will be a reserve LB & ST player this year.

Hey Cowboys fans,
Let me start by saying that I am a respectful poster and didn't come here to talk trash. I grew up in Arlington and went to my share of Cowboys games back during the Danny White, Drew Pearson, Tony Dorsett years and really liked the team then.?

I have a question? Is there any truth to the rumor that because Utah does not have a pro football team is because Denver would want one too?

:D

Enjoy your stay...maybe our teams will meet in the Big Dance!

Yes, DJ naturally plays WILL, last year he was SAM, and this year he is MIKE. As a weak side linebacker his rookie year, he got about 120 tackles and was up for rookie of the year, but his buddy Jonathan Vilma beat him out (another Miami stud). Last year as the strong side, he wasn't used very well (out on nickel downs) and his production dropped off. He did well in training camp (Dove Valley), but everyone agrees he struggled against San Fran last week.

You do know that this is the 30th anniversary of Cowboys vs. Broncos in Superbowl 12 right? Hopefully, both teams could make it there again (but maybe with a different ending?).

It's kind of wierd, the Broncos were in superbowl 12, 22, 32, and now this year is 42 (I actually think we are a year away).

Nothin' but love for coach Wade, I hope he does great for you guys.

Wow time flies.....I did not realize that until you mentioned it. I can still remember watching Butch "earthquake" Johnson as he dove for that pass which in today's game may be overuled.

I would love to play the Broncos in the 08 Super Bowl or for that matter any team will do.........good luck this year!!

Are you suggesting Nancy Kerrigan would be closer?

Be that as it may when a girl has teeth like that you have to be careful.
