Ummmm, no one is bashing Terry Glenn. What's up with the title of this post.

Grant you, there is a lot of TO bashing here and everywhere else...but if he wants it to go away, I sugest he shut up and get with the program.

But our star WR isn't getting bashed at all.

Too true. Give Glenn TO's cash.

I really don't think we would hear a peep from TO if Bledsoe could get him the ball. He's open and wants to score to help the team win but that's impossible with the way Bledsoe is throwing the ball and throwing pics. As far as our STAR reciever, I think we have 2 of them...

We have stars all over the field. We have more than one star WR. Glenn and TO have both earned the right to be called "stars". You and I both know that... I get your sarcasm though.

Who are we to blame then??? TO for saying thank you, donning a Cowboys jersey, and accepting the 10mil or the front office for giving it to him. Once again, thanks to ESPNTO, your sights are misguided.

I wouldn't consider my stance as apologizing for anyone. I prefer to see it as bringing you back off of the "TO is going to kill our franchise" ledge.

You and I just obviously have grossly opposing opinions as to where the problem lies. Mediocrity is fast approaching yet again. TO wasn't on our team last year when we pulled in an underwhelming 9-7... Drew was. (just in case you weren't aware of that)

Its unfair to pin TO's under performance soley on Bledsoe. If Lance Armstrong were actually practicing at camp instead of acting cute for the media, maybe the communication problems would have been resolved by now and Owens would be earning his keep.

Stop, please, you're making way too much sense. He doesn't understand that. All he knows is what TO has supposely done in the past and how much he's killing us now.. Nevermind the FACT that Bledsoe can't get him the ball while running WIDE OPEN. Thats not important to him at all..

It is equally unfair to pin Drew's innate ability to hit a defender in stride for an opposing TD, shrivel up like a snail and take sack after sack instead of throwing the ball away, and throw the ball behind receivers instead of hitting them in stride, on TO.

Where did I do any of that? I blame TO for dropping balls that he should catch.

T.O once said that the only thing he was trained to do was catch footballs and for ten million a year had best catch everything that is thrown at his person.

Unfortunately TO can't throw the ball to himself. If could he would easily be worth much more than 10 mil per.

How does TO throwing the ball to himself have any effect on the fact that he isn't good at running route or catching balls that are catchable? If you drop balls that are catchable you don't have good hands regardless of what you do on the plays where the ball doesn't reach you.

Yes you are an apologist right now, because your falling back on simple catechism. Your saying that anything that TO is doing wrong right now is obviously the fault of the QB, and not addressing those issues at all. TO has been dropping catchable balls this year in pressure situtaions, what is your response to that?

Riddle me this: What's more of a killer?

1. A WR dropping a pass on 2nd & 8 to create 3rd & 8

or

2. A veteran QB retracting like a slug and taking a field position killing sack on 2nd & 8 to create 3rd & 18 while looking very much like a rookie

Please advise.

Thanks.

It's over my friend. I was all for signing T.O. as well but at some point you have to step up and admit you were wrong. Now he's not talking to his position coach. I mean, this is almost the exact same thing that happened in Philly step by step. Maybe you don't want to admit it yet and that's okay but at some point all of us Cowboys fans are going to have to realize that we rolled the dice and came up craps. That's life.

Having said that, you aren't wrong or alone with your opinion of the quarterback.

What's worse, if Todd Haley, the wr coach, is telling the truth is a WR who runs lousy or wrong patterns, leaving the QB guessing.

But I'm sure T.O. is right and everyone else is wrong.

There both bad when your Oline sucks, You know their pinning their ears back on anything longer then 3rd and 3. You just made a bad situation worse, now you have our beloved statue of a QB being blitz. Get the punter ready. Would have been so much better to hand the ball off to JJ and let him scamper down the field for 38 yards setting up 1st and goal at the two, incomes BarberIII and 6 points. Hopefully our kicker makes the extra point.

Seems like O-Lines seems to suck everywhere # 11 takes snaps.

I agree 100 percent. T.O. has done nothing so far to deserve to be called a star reciever. Our Star Reciever starts and ends with Terry Glenn. Until he stops dropping TD passes and actually turns a hitch into an 80 yard TD like we have been told he can do at any time in a game, he is not a star. Right now he's right up there with the Arnaz Battles and Greg Lewises of the NFL.

Whatever it is, I'm getting real sick of the Terrel show every day. He's not going to last the season at the rate he's going. Every day he's all the headlines and I'm already sick of it.

T.O. does drop passes. He has dropped passes where ever he has been. When he made the greattest catch of his career against G.B. He had dropped, I believe 3 passes earlier in the game. The thing about T.O. is this, he will also make a big play. Young and McNabb knew this and both of them feed him the ball. There is absolutely no excuse for someone with the talent of T.O. to go a whole half without a catch. Most of the half the QB didn't even look his way.
Now people point out that he threw a fit on the sideline but the cameras also showed Glen being upset on the sideline. It was reported during preseason that Witten has had problems with the QB. Witten is going to lose his head if the QB keeps leading him into defender the way that he has.Now I am not trying to speak up for T.O. I am just stating the facts as I see them,T.O. must be feed the ball.
