I'm sure this is not what Quincy Carter had in mind 8 years ago

I'm sure you know what I mean. Bledsoe was horrible, the guy couldn't complete simple passes. Quincy could do that, they guy had over 3000 yards and did lead his team to the playoffs, but Bledsoe did nothing.

When are we going to have a Bledsoe hate thread?
Are your hands broken? Start one. I'll contribute. I can't promise anyone else will. This was a thread about Quincy who is still playing. Bledsoe hasn't thrown a pass since the 1st half of the Giants game in 2006. He's apparently under no delusions that he can still play.

I'll start one the day you leave this board forever...

At this point, you have gone so far past ignorant that you'd be doing us all a favor... I mean, from what I remember, Drew was extremely unpopular in here, with folks calling him "DeadSlow"...

You really do need to look into reality, it's a fascinating concept...

What exactly does that have to do with anything?? The knowledge or loyalty of a fan is not defined by how many years he's been a fan...

For the record, this is coming from a guy who goes back to Eddie Lebaron, and Jerry Tubbs at middle linebacker, and Bob Lilly as the Cowboys' first ever draft pick, so if that WAS the standard for knowledge or loyalty, you lose... :D

I was just wondering when he started mentioning players...and i whole heartedly agree about tenure doesnt mean anything when it comes to knowledge of a fan. I for one think that hostile doesnt look at the whole picture (picks and chooses parts that he wants to respond to) when tearing down others post. I still respect his long time cowboy support though.

In all fairness Silverbear, Beast from the East, and Hostile I think Judas was simply Similar Success from the standpoint that they are both O'fer in the playoffs.

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard off. Winning in the playoffs is a TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENT while personal performance by a particlular player is soley and INDIVIDUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT.

Only a complete ****** doesnt understand the difference. Archie Manning was one of the best QBs of his time, but the Saints totally sucked (mainly due to poor defense).

So because the Saints never won a playoff game, that makes Archie Manning of equal talent with Quincy Carter??? Neither guy won a playoff game, so I guess they are of equal talent and have equal success. Yea, Archie Manning and Quincy Careter have equal talent!!!!

You want to know what I believe? I believe in the bottom line. If you are the worst QB of all time, but you find a way to lead my team to a super bowl or 2, you can have the great QB. I want Super Bowls, you can have pro bowls.

So it doesnt matter to you how good the QB really is as long as the team wins.

So Trent Dilfer (who won a SB) is a better QB than Dan Marino (who never won a SB)???

That is what you are saying Judas, that the QB you want is the guy who wins the ring. So using your own logic, you would take Trent Dilfer over Dan Marino because Dilfer won a ring and all Marino did was go to probowls. This is seriously what you believe???

Wow, what color is the sky in the world you live in???

Some people will put up with a cheating wife as long as she's hot. I'd take the average girl that comes through for me day in and day out.

If I follow your analogy, you are saying that you will take the average girl (Trent Dilfer) over the hot cheating wife (Dan Marino) because the average girl will come through for you day in and day out.

That analogy is all wrong. Trent Dilfer (the average girl) did not come through day in and day out, he was a JAG at QB and that is why the year after the Ravens won the SB with him he was kicked to the curb.

If the average QB comes through day in and day out, guess what Judas...............he becomes the hot girl!!! He starts going to probowls and he is then thought of as a great QB.

Dilfer never did this, he was a JAG and only won the SB because the Ravens had one of the best defenses in the history on the league that year. It literally didnt matter who the QB was.

So does that mean that you keep the average QB that leads you to a SB ring or do you try to upgrade to a better QB regardless???............The Ravens apparently figured they could do better because after that SB win, Dilfer never played another down for the franchise.

So your analogy is totally whack, just because a team wins DESPITE THE QB, doesnt mean you choose to go with a lesser QB. Any GM that hasnt had a lobatomy would upgrade to Dan Mariono over Trent Dilfer regardless of if the team won the SB or not with Dilfer.

How would you compare Roethlisberger to Romo? Roeth, is my average girl. Romo is the hot cheating wife.

Feel better?

Who got the Job done when he was the starting QB on a play off team?

This was my point about fans not caring about the bottom line anymore. The guy takes us to a stinking play off victory with an average team, and fans could do nothing but trash the guy.

We as fans don't really deserve a SB anymore honestly. Until we start caring about "on the field play" instead of what a person says, if a person is driving a lexus or rapping in a video, then we are a sad and lonely franchise that the entire football world is laughing at.

I also have a question to you since people around here really listen to you maybe you can answer this one for me.

Why is it that when you say "quincy can't or couldn't get the job done" people don't say a word to you, they'd almost consider throwing you a party for saying it.

I say Romo can't get the job done, people want me dropped off a building.

Romo has not gotten the job done 'FACT' Quincy did not get the job done 'FACT'.

Won a playoff game huh? I'm sure you'll claim ( i didn't notice) that you didn't mean to post that, or that it was a typo, but please. No one types os fast that they post playoff victory when there never was one.

So Romo is having Quincy Carter type success???

Quincy Carter (Career Stats):

34 starts (18-16 record)
56.5 % completion percentage
32 TDs, 37 INTs
0.86 TD/INT Ratio
71.7 QB rating

Tony Romo (Career Stats):

39 starts (27-12 record)
63.6 % completion percentage
81 TDs, 46 INTs
1.76 TD/INT Ratio
94.7 QB rating

Schooled again Judas, seems you would get tired of this after a while. :laugh2:

OUCH! That must hurt to have the facts blasted right into a persons face like that must suck.

If we had Q right now we'd be a 6-10 team at best cause he'd be pulling the entire team down. With Romo he gives us an immediate shot in every single game that he's in.

Please point out which Superbowl was won by one of the worst QBs in history? The worst QB I can think of that ever won a Superbowl is Trent Dilfer and Dilfer is STILL better than Carter ever hoped to be.

Well Q.Carter and the Ruff Riders lost tonight 52-46. Q played very well.

I saw the game last night and I thought he was terrible... it must have been the beers.

Squincy dropped about 2 or 3 snaps and still isn't accurate with long passes. Granted the competition is AFL2, but he aint no diamond surrounded by... well you know

I only seen one dropped snap and it was on the false start by the defense. He was sacked a few times but all the blame cant be his on those. This INT was all him tho shouldnt have thrown it. What do you think about #24 Jerale Badon?? He seems to be our best threat out there!
