I'm sure this is not what Quincy Carter had in mind 8 years ago

For a guy with so much insider info you really ought to ask Joey Galloway why he had to stand up in the film room and call Q an ***** LIAR. His words, NOT MINE. That happened when Coslet asked why plays were not being ran as they were drawn up during games. Q and his insecure self tried to put the blame onto the w.r's instead of manning up and taking responsibility like a QB should.

Earlier I posted that the most extreme of the Q fluffers hated the ground Romo walks on because they see him as the guy who took Q ducks roster spot. Hmmmmmmmmmm, Judas/Clove come to mind anyone? Like I said............Laughably transparent. Every time Romo throws a touchdown pass its like rubbing salt in an open wound. They are STILL thinking it SHOULD have been Q. NO.....it shouldnt have been Q. A fool can see that an injured Romo on his death bed is STILL three times the QB Qduck will ever be. Agenda's are for FOOLS unless they are positive agenda's that are good for a whole team, not just one dopehead.

Quincy's best moment. We're driving against Carolina late, I think we got the ball inside the 25. Maybe 8 seconds left on the clock, we're down by 4 I believe.

Bryant ran a post, and Q threw the best pass I've ever seen him throw. Hit him in between the safeties, and we won. Big time throw. He had the physical tools to be a good QB.

And I believe he had a really good game in New York earlier that year when we came from behind to win again too. We got two onside kicks, and the Giants kicked the ball out of bounds to us or something.

I had to think really really hard to think of times when QC has impressed me.

So Romo is having Quincy Carter type success???

Quincy Carter (Career Stats):

34 starts (18-16 record)
56.5 % completion percentage
32 TDs, 37 INTs
0.86 TD/INT Ratio
71.7 QB rating

Tony Romo (Career Stats):

39 starts (27-12 record)
63.6 % completion percentage
81 TDs, 46 INTs
1.76 TD/INT Ratio
94.7 QB rating

Schooled again Judas, seems you would get tired of this after a while. :laugh2:

In all fairness Silverbear, Beast from the East, and Hostile I think Judas was simply Similar Success from the standpoint that they are both O'fer in the playoffs.

And Peyton Manning was for half a decade, so I guess they were about on the same level.

If that's all anyone looks at then they might as well shut their eyes. Blindness might be a belsssing for those who think that.

I eagerly await the 180 degree turn where Quincy fans say Romo is better than Peyton. I mean after all, fair is fair right?

Im not saying I agree, but somes take is who cares what is done if it doesnt translate to games that count, but then again I think Romo gets unfair blame for the loss giants.

and even then commentators and radio announcers gave props to bryant for the catch but no love for quincy on the throw...and the throw was better than the catch.

I admit it. I care. I want a QB who makes us a contender and I am more willing to wait fr the team to come together under a QB like that than I am to get lucky and win a playoff game as a fluke. Call me spoiled. I'll admit to it. I never liked Craig Morton and he took us to a Super Bowl. I just don't think he was very good. I'd take Tony Romo over Craig Morton in his prime any day.

how long you been a boys fan. I go back to Roger...I remember I was sick as a little boy when I heard he had retired.

As far as Romo. I really like romo, I do think he needs to mature a little bit. He really disappointed me with some of his comments this past year, but on the other hand, when he is at the top of his game I think he is about the most well rounded qb in the game. I will probably get flamed for that comment, but its true. . . . .

quick release, touch, mobility....he just needs to get back to being romo, and not trying to be tom brady. You have a gift that brady doesnt have, be yourself, step up, and then the nay sayers shall soon clothes their mouths...Until then he will get ridiculed, and he deserves it if he doesnt, because I personally would rather have a mediocre qb all the time and let me game plan like that than a SpiderMan 85% of the time, and Peter Parker (pre spider bite) when it really counts.

Since 1970 when I was 6 years old and saw the Cowboys lose to the Colts in Super Bowl V.

I think Carters best game was against the Giants on MNF. He played himself a whale of a game that night. The Carolina game you speak of wasnt very good at all IMO. He didnt do anything until the last couple of minutes and even then he needed ALOT of help. I remember it like it was yesterday. On the long TD pass down the right sideline. That was actually a TERRIBLE pass, it went RIGHT THREW the hands of the defender, I mean RIGHT threw them. Should have been an easy int and maybe even a pick 6. As soon as it went thru the hands of the defender and into our W.R's hands there was nobody left to cover him. Easy touchdown. The td pass to Bryant was ALOT better. And even that wasnt all that good. The pass was in back and to the right of Bryant in the endzone. Antonio made a great catch. Rewatch the game,....its all right there. If that pass gets picked like it should have been we lose that game going away. Like I say,....right thru the defenders hands. But the Giant game was pretty darned good I gotta admit.

In the end none of it really matters anyway. Romo is here and starting for the Dallas Cowboys. Will be for quite some time to. Meanwhile the Qster is playing games against the likes of the Omaha Beef and the hooterville hootowls...

I suppose the off season is for wasting time on rehashing the past. Especially about speculating on what was being speculated on by some mediot that had heard it from second hand information. :lmao:

Point one......Vinny was just signed to a contract and a Bill Parcells guy, we KNOW for sure he wasnt going anywhere. Point two....Drew Henson had just been traded for by Jerry Jones, we KNOW for sure he wasnt going anywhere. Point three.....a Team normally only carries three QB's, we KNOW for sure that Vinny and Henson were going to be 2 of the three, that leaves 2 other QB's, Carter and Romo fighting it out for the last QB spot. Point 4....We KNOW for sure that all training camp Bill Parcells, Sean Payton, David Lee, and Ron Wolf had been raving about Romo. Point five....Knowing all these facts it should be pretty easy to figure out what happened. Point six....We know for sure that Quincy was IN FACT cut during that training camp, thus backing up what myself and others have said. When really thinking over the entire situation I myself dont see where there is any speculating going on AT ALL.....:lmao:
