Presumably replacing him is Zack Thomas, Kevin Burnett, and/or Bobby Carpenter. Thomas is coming off of a season-ending concussion, Burnett hasn't done much to prove he's not injury-prone, and Carpenter hasn't shown much to make anyone believe he isn't a first round bust.
This is a position that really concerns me.
I wonder if this wasn't just a favor to Parcells and Ireland. We were likely cutting him anyway. As reported, the 4th was just for Fasano. Ayodele was thrown in later. Miami gets Ayodele at a decent contract without having to worry about the hazards of free agency.Chocolate Lab;2064126 said:I almost wonder if they weren't a little concerned about his attitude when he got demoted, too. He sure seemed to take offense when he heard that we'd signed Thomas.

Jerry gets to build good will for free essentially.

Ayodele - slightly more stout at point of attack but both basically were Casper The Friendly Ghost out there.
