Actually, I see a completely difunctional organization that Dak has carried as best one man can. Football is a team sport more than most. He is not in his prime but not the problem.
We get completely dominated in two games without him- where no one even thought it was possible we would win and all the fans are chanting that he is a major problem.

It's clear as day he makes everyone better and without him the team is truly terrible

Some of you keep coming up with excuses for why Dak plays well. You refuse to give him an ounce of credit. The mark of a good QB is to come on strong in the 4th quarter when games are on the line. It debunks all this BS that he’s a choker. Would you rather have a QB that plays great for 3 quarters then craps the bed in the 4th quarter with the game on the line? The defense gets the blame when you’re tied with a minute left and they give up a huge play with the game on the line resulting in a loss. Our defense choked in that game and it hilarious you would even attempt to defend the defense. Lol
Yeah its embarassing at this point.

I was like to one guy last year, "You realize after week 15 last year Dak was the odds on favorite for MVP and he finished second?" And the response was like, "Well look who we played its not all that impressive."

He literally finished 2nd in MVP voting last year and no credit given by half this fan base

The fans that hate Dak look for every excuse not to give him an ounce of credit for a win. When we beat the Bucs in the playoffs the excuses were that Brady was old and the Bucs sucked. In the win over the Steelers this season he got hammered by the haters for not playing well early despite bringing us back to win with only one play left. Every loss we have some try and put all the blame on him. One fan claimed if we had a better QB the Cowboys would be 7-3 or better rather than 3-7.

60 min game and when Dak goes cold for 3 quarters the defense gets gassed and eventually worn out. Just like in those SF games. SF drives down the field and scores a TD. Before any adjustments can be made Dak goes 3 and out. Happens in both SF and GB last year. Right outta the shoot the last thing the team needs is to start with a quick 3 and out. It gets tiring for the defense to be out there and demoralizing. You ever notice how Dak always seems to play better once the game is outta hand. Hmmm maybe the opponents defense is backed off and playing prevent or second string players.
Dak craps the bed against good teams all the time. While guys with pedigree stay in the fight, Dak gets knocked out early. Real inspiring isn't it.

1 SF game sure, the GB game the defense gave up 7 scoring drives on the first 8 they faced....thats bad trying to cover that just seems dumb...the offense can play bad and the defense can play bad they are not exclusive unless you trying push an agenda...you dont like Dak thats fine, trying to cover the defenses play in that GB playoff game with the QB is just ridiculous...

I said get the bag but I didn’t say get the bag in Dallas.
Wow. If the Cowboys were 8-1, beat SF and Dak was in the running for league MVP, you would have been peacocking. Now...you advocated for him to take advantage of ANOTHER team...just not the Cowboys? I'm gonna say that no one is buying and even so, it's a distinction without a difference.

I’ve never heard anyone say Dak carried teams. We have to be honest in these debates because a few people stating their opinions shouldn’t determine a whole group of people. I’ll speak for all Cowboy or Dak stans when I say Dak is not good enough to take this team past what it was. He can’t. He needs blocking, he needs a run game…he needs things to succeed. This shouldn’t be a news flash to anyone.
OK, wait...but he also needs to "get his money" too? No matter where Dak goes he "needs things to succeed"...as you rightly point out. He also needs to get over his nerves and DEEEEP INSECURITIES about his passing ability - actually lack thereof - in big pressure games and the playoffs too.

He's a choker. A choker is someone raises your expectations with good or even excellent play - and then they collapse. Dak chokes EPICALLY. Like at least Romo would continue to compete ...or maybe choke on the game-winning drive. OK...everyone's not Tom Brady or Joe Montana. But Dak...he collapses from the start of the game!!! And what you call "coming on strong" is called empty calories because he is taking advantage of a defense playing prevent and trying not to get injured in a meaningless game. It's not what you do it's WHEN you do it...and Dak chokes when you need him most.

So yeah...the credit is lost in the epic choke job. How could he be so good against the Giants/Commanders...competitive with the Eagles and then play like hot garbage EVERY TIME we face SF? And then you want $60mm? CREDIT?!?

Hey, easy now. He beat the Steelers with their 2nd string QB and a bad Tom Brady team, so forget his sucky play on every other team, those two wins alone make him worth $60 mil, plus he gets extended so his few fans get to watch him dance before games...then, BAM...another Int, another loss, but he is the best one in the NFL. Ask his fans. Watch him walk.

But Dak would want to play, not languish on the bench. Sure, the Cowboys have to pay him. But they don't have to let him play either.
Jerry Jones has played chicken with Dak Prescott/Todd France twice in Dak’s playing career. He lost both times and he lost huge. I doubt Jerry, while not the brightest bulb in the marquee, would dare do it again. He will not bench Dak under any circumstance. If he wants to move off Dak, surely to god Dak would love to leave, Jerry need only explore what it may take to move him, understanding that Dak can veto any deal.

What NFL teams are worse than the Dallas Cowboys right now? Not many. To encourage a team to take on Dak’s contract Jerry may have to sweeten the deal. It is not impossible. The question, does Jerry have any desire to move off Dak Prescott?

Dak counts 89mil against the cap next year. Parsons is going to want his money next year too. Expect him to be a holdout. Next season is going to be very upsetting for Cowboy fans and some Cowboy players will be let go.

Dak will be restructured to lower his cap hit. The cap will go up and Parsons will either be signed or let go. If I were the cowboys Id trade him not the end of the world. There's a reasonable chance we draft in the top 5 . Why does everything have to be so doom and gloom with this fan base?

there is a 100% chance that Jerry will sign #11...Im not for it or against it because it really doesnt matter unless the GM changes...all the hand wringing over what players this GM will suck with is just a waste of energy when the answer is easy...all of them, thats what the facts of the case has shown he will suck with any players he gets, because he doesnt know how to build a winning team.

I get it but I know the GM isn’t going to change and until it does neither will the results

Do your best to enjoy the ride it’s not that serious. This years ride is a bit more bumpy than the last 3 years but you really can’t win every year

JUMP OFF THE WAGON HE SCREAMED after a loss earlier this year................

Exactly what he did as he has learned injuries are good for him when he was 1-4 and broke his ankle to get the PITY contract.
How he goes back under center with these guys who you are correct hate the dude for many reasons will show up in the results of our games.
If he makes it back in 2025 due to another punk-out injury will be his last as an NFL player.
He will punk out of the NFL as he knows he just can't do it baby...........no matter how much sauce he puts out there!
Boy that statement didn’t age well did it? How embarrassing….

The offense was out scored in the first half of all 3 playoff losses. That’s usually the case and 2 of those games were at home! Dak stinks and nothing will change that in the next 5 years, it actually gets worse!
