Imagine now had these fools not extended Dak

OK, wait...but he also needs to "get his money" too? No matter where Dak goes he "needs things to succeed"...as you rightly point out. He also needs to get over his nerves and DEEEEP INSECURITIES about his passing ability - actually lack thereof - in big pressure games and the playoffs too.
What does him getting his money and choking have to do with each other.

Wow. If the Cowboys were 8-1, beat SF and Dak was in the running for league MVP, you would have been peacocking. Now...you advocated for him to take advantage of ANOTHER team...just not the Cowboys? I'm gonna say that no one is buying and even so, it's a distinction without a difference.
I said all summer Cowboys shouldn’t sign Dak you just too busy on your hate crusade to see it:

The timing of it hours before the Cleveland game? Like what?! Now we’re strapped to him and this is also with what is a 6-8 injury. He can’t even ride a bike for the next two months at minimum. The hamstring tore completely off the pelvic muscle!
I hope it ends his career and we’re stuck with the dead $$. I’ve gone from bleeding SFS and B to hoping this team loses by 50 every week. FUJJ

Yes you were pretty clear on that.
Especially at the time they did it. It was either sign him early or not at all and they picked the absolute worst option that shouldn’t have even been available. Signed him and Lamb literally the day before the season opener. Dumbest thing I’ve seen them do…well in recent memory.

While I hate losing, as I love my favorite sports team to be on the winning side and love football. What would be the boards feelings at this point knowing we would have all these high draft picks and possibly a new franchise QB?

Would your outlook on the future be the same? Would you be enjoying this season more?

Talk amongst yourselves…
I loved 1989. Young players playing hard and getting better.

Instead, we're locked into an older expensive QB who just had his worst season with the worst oline and worst RBs of his career. Couldn't get it done in the playoffs with 3 consecutive years of 12-5.

We're heading for years of not even pretending to be a contender, while watching the team climb the Loser Chart.

Detroit probably bumps us up one spot this year, resetting their clock.

Signing Dak was worse than Taco over watt, joey Galloway, shante carver, Roy Williams and firing Jimmy combined.
Nothing compares to firing Jimmy.

That prevented a 3 or 4 peat, and legitimate claim to Team GOAT.

Steelers, Niners, and Cowboys all failed in the Conference Championship in their chance for a 3peat.

Yep! You sure did bro. We’ve talked about it and your point made sense to anyone who paid attention.

You also said all YEAR: "Get your money Dak!" so...there's that....

Say everything and then when things work out...only claim what makes you look right.
Cowboystar88 literally just told you what I said lol. If you couldn’t comprehend it that was on you Steve.

Detroit made it to the NFCCG last year so we are already bumped up one. This year, the Commodes have a good chance to make Dallas the ONLY NFC team to have not even appeared in a conference title game in the 21st Century.

Cleveland is also an asterisk. The original Cleveland Browns became the Ravens, and they have certainly played in games that mattered. The current "Cleveland Browns" didn't start playing until 1999, so they are realistically at 25 years despite the NFL's retcon.

It prevented a potential 5-peat. Several players would have chosen to stay rather than bail in FA had Jimmy not been ran off by Jerry who was "miserable" while his team dominated the NFL because he wasn't considered a "football man" like Jimmy was.

If only Jerry listened to Steamin Willie Beamen four years ago. The time to move on from Dak was after the broken ankle in 2020.

And I dont want to hear about the draft being a crapshoot for QBs anymore as the excuse. This year has proven that you can sign a vet for the cheap and get similar results (Baker, Cousins, Geno, Darnold, Wilson)
The crap shoot was Dak, Jerry rolled snake eyes, again

You Dak critics still complaining?

Let me guess, this is what y'all are going to be doing the next 4 years?

You had it your way by Jerry wasting a costly 4th round pick on the BUST called Trey Lance, yet you're upset because Jerry had no choice but to resign a top 10 QB in Dak. If not, Jerry and the Cowboys would have been left with no proven QB and forced to rely on another unproven QB in a rookie drafted QB for 2025.

Talk about doing it your way being an epic failure.

Dak is our QB for the next 4 years and proven so. Deal with it.
3-5 and another injury lost season was brilliant, Dak is so fragile they don’t even have a QB to challenge him, maybe they do but won’t play him because it might damage his confidence even more. Dak's soft mentality, so don’t expect any decent QB signed that makes him look bad, he might start crying and curl up in a corner.

The fans that hate Dak look for every excuse not to give him an ounce of credit for a win. When we beat the Bucs in the playoffs the excuses were that Brady was old and the Bucs sucked. In the win over the Steelers this season he got hammered by the haters for not playing well early despite bringing us back to win with only one play left. Every loss we have some try and put all the blame on him. One fan claimed if we had a better QB the Cowboys would be 7-3 or better rather than 3-7.
Bucs a typical Dak feast, 8-9 with a 45 year old QB, what happened in the next game against a quality team, Dakchoka was in full display. Dak the king of the almost, winner of nothing

Bbbbbbut, Dak "personally retired" Tom Brady that night. It was the crown jewel in his amazing career resume, dominating a sub .500 team in a huge playoff showdown.
