Thanks for your kind words. You’re a smart fan! The trolls who call you a troll are not realists like we are. I called this all the way back in 2019 and have been right ever since!!!
If any of these trolls ever bother you, I suggest taking it to the mods! This forum would be so much better without the trolls!!Thanks for your kind words.
They don't like me and do their best to make it uncomfortable for me here as the truth hurts.
I don't care..........never have listened to the mob as I trust my little grey cells and what they perceive as reality.
Nah and let's just leave it at that.........best.If any of these trolls ever bother you, I suggest taking it to the mods! This forum would be so much better without the trolls!!
Well, the monumental blunder was giving Dak the contract. So, the choice is suck for the foreseeable future or begin digging out of the hole. There are a few good QB prospects in this draft. That said, we all know Jerry is going to double down on his blunder (signing Dak) and draft the RB from BSU and add a WR.Would be a monumental extended blunder, but a blunder this FO will make in a bad QB draft.
Hindsight is 20/20. Pondering what "could have been" is a fool's errand. While I hate losing, as I love my favorite sports team to be on the winning side and love football. What would be the boards feelings at this point knowing we would have all these high draft picks and possibly a new franchise QB?
Would your outlook on the future be the same? Would you be enjoying this season more?

We started rolling with Dak............in reverse! We still would have zero solution at QB, and we would open the door for a bidding war for Dak. I would rather roll with Dak until we have someone capable to take over. We might actually draft a QB this year.

Dak has never carried. Hes been carried if anything.Actually, I see a completely difunctional organization that Dak has carried as best one man can. Football is a team sport more than most. He is not in his prime but not the problem.
The biggest loss this season for me was the loss of hope. It's hard to imagine anybody who had actually intended on sabotaging this team could have done a better job than Jerry. The immediate future is with Dak at the helm and I guess if there's a bright spot it's that next year's crop of QBs is crap anyways. They should pick OL or DL early and often, build up the trenches! While I hate losing, as I love my favorite sports team to be on the winning side and love football. I nearly rolled my eyes right out of their sockets reading this drivel. Oh, JUST IMAGINE all the bad things that might befall the Cowboys if they hadn’t signed Dak Prescott - a middling AND aging QB to the most lucrative nontract in NFL history?Where are all these high draft picks you mentioned coming from had we allowed Dak to walk? We couldn’t trade him. Had he walked it would have forced us to use our top pick on the best QB available even if they weren’t worth the pick. The chances of them becoming a franchise QB are slim. The team has tons of holes and blowing our top pick on a QB that goes bust would have set us way back. Re-signing Dak allows us to address other needs. It would have been terrible having to pass up a great DT prospect or another impact position because we needed a QB. No QB is going to have success with this bad team. We have gaping holes everywhere and will have more of them once we lose more players after this season.
One of the bad things that could have happened is reaching for a QB with their top pick who should have never been taken that high and passing on much better players. If you haven’t noticed the Cowboys have more holes than a fishing net. They couldn’t afford to waste a premium pick on a QB that has no better than a 50% chance of being a franchise QB. We need to get a lot better in the trenches.I nearly rolled my eyes right out of their sockets reading this drivel. I swear, I just want to puke. Only there’s nothing left in my gullet.
New players. New QB. New asst coaches. Same head coach Jerry jones. Same sorry A cowboys. Nothing will ever change with this team bc of the culture Jerry jones has made. Jerry’s legacy is destroying one of the greatest franchises in ALL of sports. What do you believe is THE most important position in NFL football? Also, in the history of the NFL draft, how many teams that took a QB with an early first-round pick DIDN’T ‘have more holes than a fishing net’ - like they typically even have such a high pick to use due to the overall STRENGTH of their roster? One of the bad things that could have happened is reaching for a QB with their top pick who should have never been taken that high and passing on much better players.
