Actually, I see a completely difunctional organization that Dak has carried as best one man can. Football is a team sport more than most. He is not in his prime but not the problem.

He is 31... Still a young QB these days.

While I hate losing, as I love my favorite sports team to be on the winning side and love football. What would be the boards feelings at this point knowing we would have all these high draft picks and possibly a new franchise QB?

I would definitely be fired up about the draft knowing we would have a shot at a franchise QB, losing sucks but it would have been a lot easier to deal with knowing we had something to look forward to,but with clown boy signed,all the joy about the draft has ended..not to fired up about drafting a RB or wr with dak still leading the charge,I can't even trust them to sign a good DT.

The problem is the DT is from Michigan. That’s scary with our luck at that school. I think it will come down to Jeanty at RB, Travis Hunter, or the DT. Sucks as I want all 3!

I think so, ya. If you keep Biadasz, you're able to use that 3rd to add a RB or strengthen the DL, and you have a proven pro bowler that knows how to make the right line calls. You keep Fowler and Armstrong, DE isn't the problem it has been this season, and you strengthen the interior. Maybe that 2nd spent on Kneeland could've been a WR. You keep Pollard and the offense isn't so one-dimensional. I was fine with letting him go, but nothing was done to replace him, because there were so many other needs elsewhere.

Instead, we went with a big contract for Dak, and without a great team around him, he fell flat, and then got hurt. People didn't seem to understand that we let a bunch of contributors walk in the offseason. What we're seeing right now, I called it back in May, and it doesn't get much better moving forward unless a bunch of guys step up. This was all avoidable, yet here we sit, staring down the abyss of mediocrity.

You had all these players and GB scored 50…..this team has issues and while Prescotts play is one of them it’s a bunch of them.

And to be honest if giving Dak that deal results in us firing McCarthy and Zimmer as well as finally invest in the trenches then it was money well spent.

I didn't want to extend him either but it is what it is. It can be possibly be saved with a QB whisperer like Ben Johnson coming in and scheming things open for Dak and bringing a different type of energy. If Jones go with a retread again I'll probably stop following the team as closely as I have been in my life

Never wanted to sign Dak. Didn’t upgrade the team at all. I said ride it out with Lance and see how he does and if he sucks *** draft a QB. If they did the latter could they have been worse than 3-8? We need to draft a QB bc it's the best investment given our likely draft position. It is obvious that the drop off from Dak to our back-ups is just too steep and both Rush and Lance are free agents after the season. Perfect time to reboot the QB room and set the stage to send Dak packing in a few years.

Would be a monumental extended blunder, but a blunder this FO will make in a bad QB draft.
