I've recently had In-n-Out in SD, and the food is decent, above average, but there are tons of burger joints in Nashville that blow it out of the water.

I even enjoy 5 guys more.

Being someone who has worked in hospitality and service industry for a long time now, I just want to let you know something. I can tell from the OP what kind of "guest" you are. I just want to let you know how many unmentionable things you've eaten in your food, unawares. 'Cause we go to great lengths to assure *******s like you get only the best :)

Spit, old food scrapings, you name it, you've eaten it.

Anyone who ever goes some place and actually uses the words "Unacceptable" needs to just go hang them selves from a bridge.

You mean to tell me the minimum wage teenagers who handle thousands of burgers with all kinds of different variations on toppings every day got yours wrong? how F'ing dare them. Don't they know who you are?

Go shoot yourself please.

Sorry if I seem harsh, like you I just had a bad night, except i was on the other end. I was the person dealing with the ******* guests who find it UNACCEPTABLE that their food was not correct. So I felt like venting, and saying some of the things that would get me fired at work :)

The fact that you find spitting in someones food for being difficult as just retribution makes YOU a scum bag, not him.

I'd say you should be pumping gas somewhere, but I know a lot of gas pumpers that are great people.

Why does everybody have to act like they are too good for fast-food?

I don't think anyone has said that.

I'm not a huge fan of the big burger chains, except for Wendy's from time to time myself but I'll eat the he'll out of a Shake Shack burger here in NY, which is our In N Out, complete with long wait times.

Not always true. There are some real ****head people out there that get their rocks off by giving waiters and other restaurant staff a hard time.

I have an uncle that I absolutely will not go out to eat with. The last time I did, I wanted to kick his skull back down his neck.

Whataburger no contest

I think I like Wataburgers best too, but I will say this. Sometimes Whataburger's wait can be 20 minutes without a line! They can be freaking slow! :laugh2:

We don't have Whataburgers in NY, but I took my son to the DFW area and got him one. He loved it so much he brought back the french fry carton and hung it on his wall. :lmao2:

The fact that you think there's ever a time to contaminate someone's food also makes you a scumbag. :D

Seriously though, we are not uncivilized beasts. We do not need to fling our feces to express our dislike for someone.

Rule #1 of fast food joints. Do not throw a hissy fit and return to eat at the same joint.

Yeah. It's cheap food served to you by teenagers or adults who cant get a better job than that and are EXTREMELY unmotivated and are paid a pittance. What do you expect? Hell, if they get my order RIGHT it's a bonus.

Some places but I been to a lot of Whataburgers the last few years and I do not think I have had to have one thing fixed .
(try about once a month on average it is a Troop tradition thing we stop there every time on the way back home from campouts for lunch) . Also Jack in the Box usually does a good job of getting it right every time. Wendys it just depends on which ones some are better than others.

I think it all depends on where you go Burger King terrible have always been terrible. McDonalds terrible I think it is how those companies and franchises our run

Oh I certainly don't think it's just. Spit isn't going to hurt anyone, they aren't going to know about it. It's like it's not even happening for them. There is NO retribution in that (which is why it really doesn't happen as often as media would have you think). Of all the restaurants I've worked in, I've only seen instances of stuff like that a few times. But it happens.

Just retribution would be going outside and slashing their tires! Or preferably removing their engine block and dropping it through their windshield. :laugh2:

Honestly though if you've never been in the service industry you have no idea how horrible human beings can be to complete strangers on a daily basis.

Sorry, but spitting in someones food doesn't even come close to being as bad as some of the stuff I've seen "guests" do in restaurants every week. Any idea how many times I've seen female wait staff crying because of how their tables are treating them?

Honestly though it's not even just service industry. Even people who give cashiers or.. gas pumpers a hard time, need to just go hang themselves please.

It's like people feel they have some god given right to "not be offended or delayed by anything" else they throw a huge hissy fit like their sweet 16 party was just ruined. OH MY GOD ONIONS OH GOD NO.

And trust me, I feel you on the onions. Onions need to stay the F off of my burgers. The Mcdonalds around here constantly messes my Mcdoubles up and leaves the onions on. It makes me sad inside.

So after checking my order (only an idiot leaves a fast food joint they've had problems with, without checking their order.. right?) I simply drive around and ask very politely for a new order. I apologize for being a pain in the ***, even though I'm not at fault in any way. They are always happy to fix my order.

If I go home without checking, and there are onions all over my burger? I remove them.. put the bun back on.. and eat. It's not the end of the world unless your deathly allergic.

Again I will reiterate. I was venting after work dealing with *******s. I don't really hope people hang themselves (Or do I). I was just keeping with the mood of the OP
