I hear you bro. Hard to sniff this out. I think the money and club thing plays a part. You dont always know you are drinking the poison.
If we are influenced by the grand illusion...the big money....why us and not other lucrative markets?

I don't imagine you become the most valuable sports franchise in the world without putting a heavy emphasis on money. We've seen some of the young, promising players like Diggs and Lamb get paid. Dak just signed a record contract, and Micah talks about money on social media and his podcast regularly. We've seen guys fall off a bit after getting paid, but these guys.....I mean this team is borderline dysfunctional.

Maybe a combination of McCarthy's player friendly coaching style combined with Jerry's obsession with money and his tendency to overpay his guys has built an undeserved self confidence, bordering on cockiness.....when what they need is to be brought back down to earth and show some humility. I don't think it's much of a stretch to say that their priorities are in the wrong place.

My best guess, Jerry and McCarthy are a bad fit together. If the owner is all about flash and flair, you need a disciplinarian coach to offset. It worked under Parcells, fell apart under Wade, corrected itself under Garrett (a Saban disciple), and we're seeing some pretty obvious cracks under McCarthy. It's why I want Belichick coaching the Cowboys, but that's another conversation entirely.

Had nothing to do with their records. McCarthy's coaching style is unsustainable in Dallas working with Jerry Jones.

Cowboys have not quit on MM. He's far superior to Wade. Team did quit on Garrett in 2019. And would have sooner if the team did not have Scott Linehan. Lineman is the reason Garrett made any playoffs.

Cowboys are not done this year. I still say they will win the Super Bowl in New Orleans. Mark this post!

Bro, we have been historically bad at home this season. That's a valid statement. I don't buy the "we're not as bad as so-and-so" argument. We're the freakin Cowboys.
