The last thing we need is to be shying away from good teams. We need to be playing these type of teams when they're full strength. We build false confidence on under .500 teams. It's time to build confidence against the big boys.

We already have a moral victory against the Broncos. Isn't that enough?

That really stinks - He will be back in time to play us.

That is some bad luck right there.

yeah but the giants/eagles get two free wins. giants will win the next two then they are playing for 1st place in 3 weeks vs the boys.

I would not bank on that, there is nothing free about it and while Rodgers may be out I doubt GB is going to fold.

A clavicle fracture is broken whether it is hairline or a clean break. He will not be back in three weeks. This short prognosis may be due to Flynn being released or other QB options.

If this is only three games, the Gnats and Egals are terrible and GB can still beat them w/o Rodgers.

I would've surprised if it were just 3 weeks. I hope he does come back early, so the next hit he takes will end his season.

Saw speculation that it might a "chip" fracture -- whatever that is.

what did i tell you guys last night. i didn't even need a medical report to tell you that he was going to only be out for the giants/eagles game only. that's how things always seem to work out for the cowboys. the curse of jerry jones continues.

While I was grateful for a while, at this point I wish Jerry hadn't sold his soul for those SB rings in the 90's.

Funny. I'm in hospital right now waiting on surgery because I broke my collarbone yesterday. Maybe I can let y'all know how I feel in a week or two as a test case ;-)

Just a piece of the bone that got chipped off. It is still painful and the length of the clavicle was probably traumatized in some way. Sometimes when this type of injury occurs, displacement of the collarbone can happen.

Whatever the real diagnosis is......three weeks seems fishy, to me anyways.,

I'm going to take a wild guess then when they do "more tests" today his return will move out to 6-8 weeks, at best (ie, anymore than that and he goes on IR).

Man, what dumb luck. He misses both Eagles and Giants. Giants I'm not worried about but Eagles should be tied with us after this coming Sunday. We will lose to NO and they will win against GB. Sucks!

No way the Eagles win, GB will slap Foles silly.

I dunno -- Seneca Wallace looked BAD.

The Packers may have the 2nd ranked rushing attack in the NFL led by Lacy, however, without the threat of a passing game it won't matter.

No Rodgers and I predict the Eagles will win a tight game.

The more I think about it, I actually give the edge to the Packers but you never know how a QB going down can mess with a team. The Packers still have a decently solid team but with no Rodgers this game turns into a fight. Just like the Bears game last night. The Bears were playing with a backup QB too.

Let's not kid ourselves on the Eagles. Foles had an awesome game against the Raiders, not some good team. Still, the game would have been a blowout win if Rodgers were playing. Now GB will only slightly be favored.

I think the three week thing is total bs as it just happens to coincide with him returning for a crucial division game with Detroit. I think it's wishful thinking on the part of whoever leaked that timeline. The fact that its taking so long to get the official diagnosis tells me its more serious than a 3 week deal and they are trying to figure out what to do before announcing the truth.

Too bad Rodgers won't miss the Cowboys game that would have been one less 400 yard passer to add to the Cowboys NFL record four 400 yard passers this season.
