I agree three weeks is a very optimistic diagnosis. Sounds like they flew him down to Dallas and let our med staff take a look at him.
Anyway , when they passed out the schedule we were planning on facing him..... If we don't then that's a bonus

yeah but the giants/eagles get two free wins. giants will win the next two then they are playing for 1st place in 3 weeks vs the boys.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. You see, neither the Giants or Eagles are very good. The Eagles beat the Raiders, like it or not, they are the RAIDERS. Kind of like being the best looking turd in the toilet.
At any rate, there is no sense wringing your hands over it. I didnt really expect a win VS Greenbay anyway. I dont expect either of them to get one either. Even without Rodgers.

what did i tell you guys last night. i didn't even need a medical report to tell you that he was going to only be out for the giants/eagles game only. that's how things always seem to work out for the cowboys. the curse of jerry jones continues.

What does this have to do with Jerry...does the hate ever end on here.

I still haven't seen anything from the Eagles to indicate that they won't get beaten like a drum at Lambeau. With time to install a gameplan for Wallace and a good running game, the Packers will be fine. They have too good of a coach to just fall apart against two crappy teams like the Eagles and Giants.

There are no such things as crappy teams, only teams with crappy records. Or so it goes.......

the 'hate' will end as soon as the mediocrity does

do you think there would be these anti-jerry and anti-jason posts if we had won 2 SBs in the last 4-5 years?

That's not what I meant by it.
It seems that just about EVERY thread, someone post stuff like that, and has nothing to do with the thread.
Like the comments when someone posted should we be interested in a released player, if any other position other than OL...you will see the comment...can he play OG..
then the JJ is stupid comments start...
I know people will say, well they can post whatever they want. which is why I post this...

No way the Eagles win, GB will slap Foles silly.

I can actually envision a scenario where Rodgers' injury could work in our favor. In the past, I have seen teams really respond to adversity (i.e. losing a very important player) in the short term, taking a sort of "circle the wagons" mentality. Generally, that determination gives away to despair after a few weeks when they realize that they are fighting a losing battle but we may see the Packers play some really inspired ball over these next couple of weeks. Especially if these further tests tell them that Rodgers could be ready in 3 or 4 weeks, giving them hope that if they can just keep their heads above water, they can hold on until he gets back.

Or not. Guess we'll find out soon enough! But this is not a gimme for the Eagles by any stretch of the imagination.

GB still hung in the game for the most part against the Bears. This with Wallace coming in cold. Bears are better than the Giants and the Foles lead Eagirls. I wouldn't say it's an automatic losses for GB against the EaGirls or the Gints.

I'm still waiting on what this Jerry Jones 'curse' is, and also what he did that he needed to sell his soul to the devil for those three SB's that I've read more than once on here in the last couple days.

The Bears with Cutler back and those tall WR's scare me more than the Packers even with Rodgers back (which I doubt he will)

It's not necessarily 2 free wins for them, the packers actually have a good running game this year and remember the Gnats and Eagles are both trash. They both might win but I wouldn't call the games a gimme

HUGE break for both the Eagles and the Giants.
I would have said the eagles AT Green bay would be a lock for the Packers. Now it won't surprise me at all if the Eagles win. And of course, the Giants just got gifted the following week as well.
Can't believe that those just happen to be the next two games the Packers play.

And, of course, Rodgers will be back in time for Dallas.
lol

I'm not buying this 3 week deal either. I'd be very surprised if he is back in time for the game against Dallas on December 15th.

Is Rodgers holding out hope it’s not long-term? “Not a specific type of rehab. Have to wait for the bone to heal” http://espn.go.com/espnradio/affPopup?s=wauk-am…
Nice job, @jasonjwilde. Making Aaron Rodgers cry.

Adam Schefter ‏@AdamSchefter 1m
Aaron Rodgers confirmed to @jasonwilde that he has a fractured collarbone.

Mike Garafolo ‏@MikeGarafolo 1m
Rodgers tells @jasonjwilde no timetable yet. He's not dodging. Everything I've heard is it's indefinite right now, at least a few wks.

Will Brinson ‏@WillBrinson 1m
Great stuff from @jasonjwilde with Aaron Rodgers on the QB's injury. Listen live here: http://espn.go.com/espnradio/affPopup?s=wauk-am…
Rodgers choked up talking about walking back on the field post injury. "That was one of the top five moments of my career."

Aaron Nagler ‏@Aaron_Nagler 11s
Wow. @AaronRodgers12 getting very emotional talking about the reception he got from the Lambeau crowd when he came back out on the field.
