I do not smoke weed, but love going into head shops both here in Austin, and in San Francisco and San Jose in the past. I don't have to smoke to enjoy other things they have to offer as well as counter culture in general(this is coming from a conservative). Does this make me a drug addict?

Yes it does - you unrepentant, heathen!!

I didn't become an alcoholic over-night, but over time I did become one. And it nearly killed me. My functional IQ plummeted to the rat level. I'm grateful for 18 months free of all of it. I'm living life now.

Congratulations on your sobriety -- that's a huge deal and you should absolutely be proud of yourself!

For wanting to see what a weed store looks like in real life?

I'm guessing you're like...50+.
Hey, easy there, CA!!! You do realize that a lot of the "over 50" crowd were around, partying in the 60's and 70's !

Good point, CA! There were also some of us back then, who didn't get involved in the "Summer of Love" movement, but rather summer camp at exotic places like Ft. Sill, Oklahoma!

I don't blame the front office for not approving. It's a very bad sign.

No it isn't. If you win, these are non issues. Visiting a weed dispensary and liking to party is child's play to what the 90s Cowboys were doing. Recall the White House? Win and they will accept it. Only when you start to lose does this cause a riff. Hardy was only a distraction last year because we were terrible. Winning cures all that.

But we aren't winning and with the history we've been having with problem players it is an issue.

Otherwise I might agree. But regardless a rookie whose already been a suspect in an abuse case it wasn't good judgement . Why provide headlines ?

Just a maturity thing. Not that he went in to check it out but that he was a Dallas Cowboy and checked it out

He will learn the price of fame is not being able to live like the rest of us. The good and bad that comes with it

He said that he was just curious and it was not a big deal but he realizes now it looks bad

"I was curious,” Elliott said, via the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “I didn’t think I was doing anything wrong. I wasn’t breaking any laws or anything. It was a bad decision. It was something I shouldn’t have done. But I know now. … You definitely got to think of the perception of things before you actually do certain things. It may not seem like a big deal to you yourself but there is a bigger picture. It’s definitely a learning experience about the scrutiny. You just got to be careful and not give anyone a chance to say anything.”

I don't even smoke and did the same thing. When I first moved to Cali, I went to Venice Beach and saw those "pot clinics" along the side. Thought that was different and pretty cool and took photos of them.

When we went to Seattle and saw a store where you can buy it legally without a rx, I bought a pot candy thing, like a jolly rancher. It is still in my drawer :D

i'll be glad when the dumb nfl drops this weed crap so people can smoke legal non-performance enhancing plants if they want

You might be glad along with a lot of other tokers on this board but, not going to happen anytime soon. Federal Law still classifies it as a
class 1 Felony even if the current President doesn't enforce the law. Trying to get the congress to change the law will at least take 60 yes
votes from the Senate...NOT! They can't get 60 votes to settle what they're having for lunch in the Senate dining room.

Being seen in a place like that wasn't a good decision on his part but I do think it's much ado about nothing. Of course, from my point of view, pot should be legal anyway.
