No it’s not saying he’s guilty. That’s your interpretation . HR often has to suspend personnel until an investigation is done .

And the lawsuit is just a retaliation on his part to clear his name . Which I don’t blame him. The process will play out.
HR doesn’t suspend anyone until it’s been investigated first.

It's sad that some of you seem to be rooting for Irvin to be guilty.
She approached him. Several witnesses said nothing out of the ordinary
occurred.
Several witnesses said they didn't see anything out of the ordinary. The crux of this incident is what was said. No witnesses that I'm aware of have heard what was said.

He could've said anything he wanted.
But, go ahead and crucify the man anyway, I guess... smh

Not to mention, they reportedly shook hands and he entered the elevator
to go to his room alone.

The NFL does that all of the time.
Some companies and other entities like colleges do it all the time

anybody remember the Duke Lacrosse team being punished before any investigation and trial?

some companies and colleges that share a particular ideology do this repeatedly…..destroy the accused with merely an accusation

The NFL does that all of the time.
All publicly held positions do from peace officers , even teachers , tv personalities .. you name it.

It’s all about protecting their brand until an investigation can be done . And most are suspended with pay .

I haven’t read where anyone has crucified him. Nobody even knows what the hell happenned.

But it’s pretty normal protocol for a big public business to take action as a precaution. Last thing they want is for them to come off like they didn’t take any action if the accusations hold up.

This was about he NFL protecting themselves, not attacking Irvin.

I was referring to so-called fans, like yourself.
Follow the thread. I mentioned it about 10 posts back.

All I’ve done is supported the Marriott and NFL swift decisions.

With his history it really doesn’t take much effort to profile Irvin. Which I’m sure influenced their decisions.

Crucify? Lol. All I'm doing is assessing the evidence that comes out. You're coming across quite defensive there.

No, he couldn't just say "anything he wanted." If he made a joke that he was going to cut her into pieces and toss her parts out of his hotel window while staying in that establishment, that would be cool? Right, no. As I said when these witnesses came out, people who think that seals things for Irvin are assuming that someone needs to react to a threat right there in the moment every time. Some take time to process or just want to get away to safety before they decide on what to do including being as cordial as possible so as to not escalate the threat. That's the angle lawyers will take with these witnesses anyway so Irvin's lawyers would need to be able to refute that if this went to court. A jury of straight line thinkers would be their friend. As would you, lol.

...and bring up prior incidents such as ESPN, etc.

Imagine if he were innocent. I know it's hard for you to do.
Does the NFL and Marriott deserve praise for swiftly deciding to
pull a working man from his job over a 45 second encounter on
hotel video with several witnesses?

Alvin Kamara beat up a fan, on video, last year and was allowed to stay and
participate in the Pro Bowl events.

So, beat up a fan, on video... nothing.
Converse with a hotel employee that walked up to you... removal from hotel and pulled from job.

Swift decisions, indeed... smh
