Is anyone really pissed at today's loss?

No not really and this board itself seems to be much calmer than after NYG and Denver imo.

Can I take partial credit for trying to help?

I am not upset. I really didn’t want to eat the Cowboy cheese ... because i have seen this story before. They make you believe they are the real deal ... then smash those hopes. Long season left, we will win a couple game coming up, the Sun-Shine Crew will come out and predict we are a top 5 team, blah, blah blah. But until we win in December and January ... i have to see it with my eyes, until then, i will keep myself guarded.

That's the approach I'm taking.

I was bothered during the game. The refs were awful, the 0-Line was bad, and the injuries were killer. After the game was over, I didn't take to heart quite as much. The loss really didn't hurt THAT much. The Eagles lost today, which made it wonderful. For moral purposes, this loss brings the boys right back down to earth. Their heads would have only grown bigger, and a loss would have been unavoidable in the future. Plenty of games left and two in the next 11 days that should have "W" written all over them.

at 1st I was, but about 10 minutes after the game, I was, and still am, pretty "meh" about it

idk, the game never felt right to me, it's one thing to be in an opportunity to win a ball game, but nothing was going our way, esp. on O

I was hoping that at some point we would even out the score, but I never had a thought that we could overcome it

I guess the whole game prepared me for the letdown that it ultimately was, and I'm not mad anymore, it was just one of those games IMO

btw, I caught myself laughing at some of our miscues, I usually never do that, although don't get me wrong, I got royally pissed at some points too
Pissed that we lost? Somewhat. Pissed that we lost & suffered INJURIES? YES.

I am pissed because offensively we failed to execute or adjust in light of the fact the opposing defense was aggressive and hungry.

Penalties, missed blocks, poorly thrown balls, dropped passes, missed field goal and turnovers all of which are a recipe for disaster on the road against a motivated opponent.

We never established the run, nor the intermediate passing game and we never consistently stretched the field.

The injuries hurt especially in the long term but I am very disappointed that we simply were not good enough today to make it happen.

I can honestly say that I do not know what type of team we have in terms of play off hopes and long term success, time will tell.

Not really mad.

It just proves that I've been right to not drink the kool-aid all along. I did feel good about them beating the Eagles, but they followed it up with this and the Eagles got it put on them by the Chargers. Maybe the critics are right, the East is just overrated this year.

Just because you refuse to acknowledge the obvious truth, for whatever reason, does not mean that those of us who do are "over-reacting" or "whiny babies"

Exactly. It's the whining and ****ting of yourselves that makes you all whiney babies.

I never felt right about this game, either... Although honestly, I expected them to light us up. I never expected such an incredibly dismal showing on O where we can barely get a first down.

The only thing that worries me now is I hope Garrett's system isn't being figured out like the Steelers and Ed Reed hinted at last year, because it looked like they knew what plays we were running. It almost looks like there's a major fundamental flaw in our protection schemes, because it shouldn't be that hard for us to even move the ball.

I am. Then I think about Philly losing and I feel a little better. But then, I think about Columbo out for the season and I get pissed again.

Hell yes I am pissed!!!!!!!!

We had a chance to really get some breathing room in the division and we let it slip away. We still have road games against the Giants and the freaking Saints. That might be another 2 losses, and playing at Washington is not a gimmie either. We also have the Chargers who just beat the Giants and Eagles in back to back games.

Yall get my point??? We have a very tough schedule coming up and we cant afford to be dropping games to 4-4 teams.

THIS JUST FREAKING BLOWS.:bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

Let it play out. It's up to them if they want to make the playoffs.

It's strange, but no. I'm not pissed. Maybe I've grown up and learned to keep things in perspective. Or maybe I've just been desensitized after so many heartbreaking losses the last few years. I guess it just doesn't surprise me. Sometimes our guys just don't show up and sometimes we are just outplayed on a given day. Nothing I can do about it, and I think I'm tired of getting upset about a game that is out of my control.

Hopefully our Cowboys bounce back next week so we can go back to that wonderful gloating we dished out after beating the Eagles last week. :D

As soon as Folk missed that fg I thought, "Crap."

Seems like every time we miss a FG on an early drive in an away game, we lose.

Back on topic, am I pissed? No not really. Green Bay needed every bounce to go their way this game and they got it, it's not like we got absolutely dominated out there. I think our defense played outstanding, the ticky tack foul on Jenkins when Rodgers fumbled would have changed the whole momentum of the game.

I'm more pissed on the non reviewable play. That's ridiculous. I have friends that hate Dallas and it was 100% conclusive that Felix had possession. Gift wrapping them 7 pts in the 4th quarter in a 10 pt game is not only outrageous, but it's unprofessional. As a fan of the game you cannot watch things like that occur every day in the NFL and still respect the hierarchy in officiating. It's abysmal. I'm glad I'm not a player and get to comment on this freely :)

Few thing's I'd note:

1. The ground game looked bad. I'm not concerned with the box score here, but we had no rhythm on offense. Running the ball a little more I think would help establish a rhythm more effectively. Green Bay did not fear the run all game. I'm not saying run the ball 30 times a game, but our running game is too good to just abandon it altogether.

2. Roy looked good. Yeah he fumbled, that can be helped. He did drop a first down and that was pretty bad, but no receiver is 100%. The Romo to Roy connection is there, that's all I care about.

3. Can we run the ball on 1st and Goal on the one? I understand the effectiveness of the playcalling if it's executed well, but that's the point. You can't rely on perfect execution in the red zone. You minimize risk because turning the ball over will kill you in a close game. With our offensive line and the backs we have, calling 4 wide on the 1 yd line is an unnecessary risk.

I think we'll bounce back and be 8-3. The game against the Giants will be huge. I wish Colombo would be in that game, good lord. Those things happe I guess.

Cheer up guys.

At least we aren't the Commanders.

It's a disappointing, momentum killing game... but it's not the end of the world. We got no breaks and no help today for sure.

If anything- this loss might help the team understand what it WILL take to win ballgames on the road OR against desperate opponents and potentially both.

Almost every team the Cowboys play going forward will fall into one of those two categories the rest of the way.

The Cowboys will have to identify themselves IN THAT GROUP of teams and be desperate for victory from here on out if they want to accomplish what is still on the table for themselves this season.

I'm pissed.

How could you not be?

You're a dumb *** Bob.

Why don't you stick to pedophilia? You've got to be better at that than giving out moral victories.

Wade's infectious competiteveness and never say die atttitude have apparently spread to the fanbase now. (insert sarcasm)

Yeah, I'm pissed I'd like the team I've followed for 32 years to show some heart, desire and will to win a game: saw NONE of that yesterday: AGAIN.

Easy there Hoofbite :laugh1: .

No, I am not PO'ed about this loss. I put this game in the same category as the Eagles and Giants game, meaning it could go either way.
