I would love to prove all the doubters and am willing to bet on it somehow.

SDogo;3814533 said:IMO, he is still another year or two away from even being considered ready to take over as a fll time starter. He was raw coming out of college, missed almost all of the off season workouts and then a good portion of the season. That's a lot of time to miss for a guy that needed as much time as he could get.
He's an amazing athletic talent and has a good head on his shoulders. I'm sure he will pick it up quick but you can replicate on the field expierence.

4.47 matches Eric Berry's number, I'll take it.
He played both CB and FS in college. Teams quit throwing his way as a corner so the coaches started moving him around to FS to get better use of him.Stautner;3814716 said:What I recall is that he was a college CB that we were planning to use as a safety, and I haven't heard anything contrary to that. Thats what he was playing before he got hurt.
But it sounds like you may b asking if he is supposed to be our FS next year - as in the starting FS, and the answer is that depends on if he can prove worthy. Certainly that hasn't been determined yet.

A lot is going to depend on how phyiscal he is. Hopefully he shows more of that as he gets comfortable and maybe puts on a few pounds.
Stautner;3814778 said:This is the truth. People get so pumped up to point fingers they don't bother to worry if there is any truth to their words.
First thing is AOA was a rookie. Second is he was a college CB transitioning to safety in the NFL. Third, he was hurt in preseason. 4th is he got hurt during the regular season.
With the facts in mind are people serious about saying Campo should have been able to get more out of AOA?

Officially it was only 3 but the truth is Ball would have been moved over so it's not like there were really only 3 that could play CB.Woods;3815267 said:We only had 3 CBs on the 53 roster when the season started, if I remember correctly. Not sure why Wade only wanted 3 CBs and a bunch of Safeties, esp given the multiple WR sets we see now a days. And chance of injuries to one of the 3 CBs and you're screwed.

Woods;3815273 said:I'll just add the obvious - we have to have a better plan going into this season at the Safety position.
