That's not as impressive as it used to be. Cousins and Carr have seasons like this as well.

Brady was never a physical speciemen when he came out. They thought he was going to get killed in the NFL.Might be onto something there, ever looked at Brady or Rodgers' arms? Brady's wife has more muscle in her arms. Drew Brees has little girl arms.
He reminds me of mcnabb. Maybe he could pass from more angles with less weight. I also think cooper needs to drop 10 pounds.
It is impressive enough for 4th in the league and it really is 3rd bc Murray had about a 100 less attempts. That's not as impressive as it used to be. Cousins and Carr have seasons like this as well.
Tim Tebow.....with weaker running ability. He reminds me of mcnabb. Maybe he could pass from more angles with less weight. I also think cooper needs to drop 10 pounds.
Thats right his mechanics are not natural, he worked at it and got better thro’ the years, but when pressured he loses composure and goes back to street ball ( LOL). …His weight is not an issue, he looks pretty in shape. He has never been the most accurate QB and has bad mechanics.

Yes, but only people who have zero clue try and say someone who was 4th in the league at something is bad at it.As I said, it's not as impressive when middling QBs have also had stats like that in recent years. This isn't 2005 anymore.
So just a quick look
Carr - 68.4%
Mac Jones - 67.8%
Carr actually threw more passes, so his completion percentage is more "impressive" here. Even Kirk Cousins had 66.3%. Middling QBs have high completion % now. It's not much to write home about.
53.4% in the playoff game.68.8%

Unless we go into make believe mode and pretend he is one of the worst qbs in the league...and then it makes so much more sense.

IMO… it’s not accuracy that is the issue. It’s Dak’s lack of anticipation that is more the problem.
Throws have to be “on schedule” in the NFL. We hear about QBs “throwing WRs open.” It’s because they throw to a spot and anticipate exactly where the WR will be on the field— and when he will be there.
I think Dak struggles with delivering the ball on time because he doesn’t trust what he is seeing fully. If he doesn’t see a guy “open” then he holds the ball—- vs throwing to a spot and trusting his guy will be there.
To the observer— it looks like Dak is not accurate because passes are “off target.” Yes— they are off target. But is it because Dak can’t place a ball where he wants it (physical talent issue) or because he is holding the ball and his timing/anticipation is off (awareness/mentality issue)?
I suppose it could be a bit of both— but to me, Dak hesitates too much and is off schedule with his WRs. If they aren’t exactly where they are supposed to be as route runners— then they obviously share some of the blame as well
They both play in WCO derivatives which always feature shorter throws and thus inflate completion percentages and passer rating of guys. Cousins figured out how to game the system to some degree by always throwing the ball away instead of trying to make a play which resulted in almost no interceptions.. but also not nearly as many wins.. Carr on the other hand DOES occasionally try to make a play and thus throws way more interceptions than Cousins.. Neither of them are bums.. but nor is either of them as good as Dak. Dak had no accuracy issues before the calf injury. That's an irrefutable fact. He was completing 75% of his passes at over 8 yards per attempt. Dude was ballin. Yes his accuracy as well as the rest of his game fell off after that and to me it all comes down to mechanics. Once those got out of whack he was hit or miss too often. He's simply not as natural a thrower as some other guys so he REALLY needs that constant work on his footwork and arm angles to stay proficient. The injury took that away from him.. McCarthy even mentioned there were times when they held him out of the "QB school" portions of practice to preserve him.. Bad idea..
How can we find out who is Josh Allen training with? Allen was highly inaccurate and somehow the one thing that no one believed can change, actually did change. His weight is not an issue, he looks pretty in shape. He has never been the most accurate QB and has bad mechanics.
Really?
He seems more out of shape and less athletic now.
