Lol at Garrett not wanting Ro. Doesnt he have some real close relationship with Nick Saban? I know ive read that here several times on here.
Well, when you can bypass the coach and go to the owner, this seems to happen.I agree most of the blame falls on the individual. But if we're going to use this 'grown man' argument to absolve Garrett, then it absolves Jerry too.
My issue is the players do not seem to fear Garrett and the consequences when they make these decisions. That's a huge flaw in a culture that he gets a lot of credit for on here.
There are threads on here praising Garrett for his homework on Ro with Saban and how he was able to turn him around in 2014. It's ridiculous to say he was forced on Garrett.Lol at Garrett not wanting Ro. Doesnt he have some real close relationship with Nick Saban? I know ive read that here several times on here.
It's truly sickening that he can't play. I'll say it for you, ZI've said my peace on Gregory. I feel for him and hate how the league has treated his case.
That being said, if we take out Gregory's suspensions we'd still be first on the list.
And Ro played lights out in 2014. Wasn't a total loss like many portray it to be.Also, I want to know now in case we sign him if Jerry is pushing Daryl Washington on Jason...let's go on the record.

Lol you are making a lot of excuses my man, but I'll play along.
If we make "special rules" for Garrett/Cowboys and take out Gregory, McClain, and Hardy (understandable since he was not on the team), then we're still at 38 games missed - tied for 5th most.
Realistically, Ro belongs on the list, which would bump us back up to #1 or #2 on that list.
These are grown menHe bears blame, as does the entire organization.
There are a ton of players under 25 that are grown men physically, but not me ntally. (imo)People seem to forget these are grown men who are well paid and live their own lives.

LOL. I'll leave my OP so everyone gets it. Well played, sir.Freudian slip, Miley?
With all due respect, I agree with the PEDs, DUIs, DVs... but Gregory should be on the field. He's done none of those. These are grown men
They bare blame for their actions off the field

In hind site, he never should have been drafted but that's not on Garrett I don't imagineWith all due respect, I agree with the PEDs, DUIs, DVs... but Gregory should be on the field. He's done none of those.
My point is that it shouldn't be costing him anything. In hind site, he never should have been drafted but that's not on Garrett I don't imagine
And he is old enough and should be smart enough to see what he is costing himself

/threadThis was covered in the other thread, but 58 of those games are from R. McClain (14), Gregory (30), Brent (10), and Hardy (4, before he ever came to DAL).
Which of those are discipline problems? McClain had substance issues and didn't want to be here. Should not have been on the team, but his presence had nothing to do with the team culture. Gregory has medical/emotional issues and was a known risk when drafted. Brent, we know what happened there and it wasn't a discipline thing.
So, no, we don't have a discipline problem. We have a culture where we give a lot of second chances to troubled players and they end up suspended. But then, we already knew that.
