Fans can talk about whatever they want ....... I do not understand the pump the breaks or put away the anointing oil threads.

Thats just guys trying to sound cool, like they are above getting excited.

If you want to start a thread about us winning the Superbowl or Dak and Zeke being rookie, league, and even superbowl MVP ..... go for it.

The threads we start on a message forum has nothing to do with the final outcome of the Cowboys season.

People should get as excited about this team as they want too ...... I know I am.

Being excited is great. I'm excited but I still think it's early for a Cowboy super bowl prediction. But I think it's early for any team after 6 games.

I don't have a issue with people talking about the super bowl but I can see why people say pump the breaks.

It's a year where we seem to be getting he breaks. Rodgers falling apart, Roethlisberger's meniscal surgery. Who knows what happens between now and when we play MIN?

That said, we've got a good team. The best teams will still be hot during the run after Thanksgiving. Right now, we're an NFC contender, which is great to see. Home field would be amazing, though.

I still stand by Vikings are doing this with smoke and mirrors. Like the Cardinals of the last few years. They will be exposed sooner than later.

Really good point - a lot of personnel breaks in the GB game - Philly losing key linemen etc.

I think it's super important for us to play in Dallas in the playoffs.

I want the bye and I dont want to not go to Minny, Lambeau, Seattle, or Atlanta.

Lots of ball left to be played but things are lining up well for sure. It's amazing how well we have survived the injury bug so far and luckily our injuries have come at positions where we have had decent depth.
Holding my breath on our linebackers. That is the one area where we are razor thin. Ear your wheaties Sean lee and let's do this.

Erod, there's no reason not to be excited about this season. We went through hell last year, I'm on board. Who's better in the NFC? Minnesota, maybe, let's see how Bradford plays for a whole season and if he can stay injury free. They're D is legit. Legit as all get out. But Bradford is an injury waiting to happen. Cards suck. Pack suck. Seattle's D has regressed, but Wilson is an elite QB so they are gonna be in the running. ATL is legit, but Ryan is a Dalton type, hot then cold at the drop of a hat. I can't trust Ryan, so they get no respect from me.

I think we may have something here, especially if (God willing) Gregory comes back week 16 and stays on the field and flashes like Tank did in '14.

Nacho is gonna come back, too. We have a team. Next year we are a top 1-2 contender in the NFC, if not already.

This next game is very important. Will the extra week help them, or hurt them? This is where coaching comes in. Garrett needs to keep them grounded and focused. It's easy for young players and players that are not used to success and the hype that comes with it, to starts drinking the Kool Aid and lose focus.
I hope they remain close and ready to go, i find myself listening to 90s music on Sirius. Taking me back to the good old days of Cowboys football.

I think we are close, erod. We may not quite be a SB contender (tho, this team is surprising me every week), but we will be next season if this team attacks free agency and the draft with scalpel precision.

We need an end rusher, a very-good to elite end rusher to pair with Tank. We also need a MLB.

However, with how elite our offense is, maybe we don't. Maybe our defense flashes when it's crunch time (post season) and feeds off of our devestating offense.

I'm starting to buy into this team as a contender, but I'm certain after next offseason, we will be a favorite, and not because we are the media magnet, but rather, due to the fact that we will have the most well-rounded team we've had in two decades.

These gifts we have been receiving have a way of equalizing throughout the season. I'm weary of injury more than anything at this point, OLine, Zeke, Lee to name a few. If things keep going the way they are, I would hope that JG starts to pull our starters late in the game when we're running out the clock. Just sayin.

Broke it once, sprained his AC joint badly two other times.

Garropolo, Hoyer (last night), Rodgers, many others.....it's a common QB problem.
