A year as in season.. 2010 season.. his first year and he actually played eventually and nabbed 2 INTs, one for a TD.. He was already a talent.. Then came Rob Ryan's scheme and he was a talent there. And so on.. Wade drafted a TALENT.. It was his eye that spotted him...

So why did Jerry ask Jason if he wanted Felix Jones and threw away 3 draft picks in 2009 for Roy Williams to help Garrett? And why did Garrett get overruled this year, with Jerry taking Frederick over Floyd?

The WCO and Air Croyell are different things. The basic idea of the WCO is you spread the team horizontally. Use the RBs in the passing game with various dump offs, check downs, screens. A lot of short and intermediate routes, crossing routes, slants, etc.

The Air Croyell is stretches the defense vertically. Suck them in with the run, hit them deep with the seam. Back them up with the deep ball, run it under neath.

No teams are strictly one offense. But when Garrett called the plays, he would call more of the AC style. Callahan calls more of a WCO.

Jerry is a meddling owner and is unpredictable. He didnt draft Floyd because allegedly Kiffin/Rod M didnt want him. But outside of that, I think Jerry has let Garrett shape the type of prospect that the scouting staff puts on the board. The RKG player profile is a real thing that the scouts were told is important.
