They've won a SuperBowl and almost one another with two different QBs in the past decade and we haven't even sniffed an NFFCG, I don't know, you tell me?
For some reason you can't seem to grasp that on any given Sunday, a inferior team can beat a superior team. Are we doing this again do we really gotta have a conversation about the Philadelphia Eagles on the front page of what we call the fan zone I'm not a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles I'm a fan of the Cowboys zone so if you wanna put this put this in the off topic crap because I don't wanna see it and don't say I could pass it up because I have to see it it's on the front page at the very top it should not be on the front page it needs to be in the off topic NFL zone until the week we play them you wanna talk about them the week we play them that's OK after that this is a off topic it doesn't belong here I put my foot down and I know I'm not gonna get any good feedback from this but I'm gonna say what I say!!!! And by the way we dropped 40 points on them last year the most any team has on that defense with all those players on that defensive line all those players couldn't stop anybody when their offense wasn't playing well could they sound familiar?
I'm not that impressed with the Eagles I feel like we're shoulder to shoulder with them this is exactly how we thought the NFC East was gonna go and we will settle it on the field.. When's the last time the Eagles dominated the Dallas Cowboys seriously? They beat Cooper rush last year with three interceptions and it took a fourth quarter player two from them to win.. Is that not eye opening I mean jalen hurts has never beat Prescott Prescott record against the Eagles is very good so I don't know why we're sitting here talking about the Philadelphia Eagles as if they're Patrick mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs because they're not and even the chiefs aren't the chiefs this year but the chiefs and Patrick my homes are the only team I would discuss that are that much better than the Cowboys there isn't a bigger gap anywhere else outside of our biggest challenge would be beating the 49ers but still it's not the Eagles...
So yes the Eagles built a very nice organization they have seen a resurgence but again they're not dominating us they're not beating us that'd be the 49ers....
LOL.Roseman is wildly overrated.
Took him three first-round picks to get two WRs, whiffed on a franchise QB play, and the team has no depth. Philly's greatest skill is staying healthy.
Eagles always target trenches, where the Cowboys target skilled positional players.they always have a dominant two way dt. they had f cox for a decade. Now they have two younger d tackles with cox still rotating. we have good outside guys like ware and
Micah. Their defenses are consistently more physical and better against the run. we both build up the o lines and receiver corps. you can argue daks a better qb. they have two number one wr s and a top te. they made two superbowls in the last 5 years. we often rush the passer and cover well but struggle defending the run. Is that the key?
This is a measure of luck.LOL.
They won a SB in 2017 where the QB that led them the entire season got hurt at the end and they won a SB with their backup.
Roseman is one of the three best GMs in football. Our fanbase is silly.
LOL.This is a measure of luck.
No depth? Staying healthy? Where did you come up with those? We were down 6 starters against Miami and no one noticed because our backups killed itRoseman is wildly overrated.

When it's not sustainable, it is Luck.LOL.
Luck. Win a SB in 2017 with a backup QB, tears the roster apart due to age/cap constraints, rebuilds the roster and gets their cap back in good shape and they make a SB 5 years later.
But luck.
I really wish our fanbase would be less dumb at times.
None of the Eagles who matter were out.No depth? Staying healthy? Where did you come up with those? We were down 6 starters against Miami and no one noticed because our backups killed it
6 starters? Blankenship seems like the only one that would be considered a blow. Are you including some of the LBs from preseason who were just JAGs?No depth? Staying healthy? Where did you come up with those? We were down 6 starters against Miami and no one noticed because our backups killed it
Yeah obviously there is a certain amount of luck involved in getting to and winning a Super Bowl.. but you can't STINK and count on luck to make up the difference for you. Luck is what differentiates one really good team from another. A bad call, a fortuitous bounce. A sprained ankle that costs you two weeks instead of ten because a player fell half inch lower on your ankle. A DB dropping a game sealing INT in the championship game. 6 refs and a booth guy all missing an obvious PI. That's all luck. But you have to be good to get in that position in the first place. The Eagles have been good. Yes they have caught some lucky breaks.. largely because of teams willing to trade first round picks for their crappy QB castoffs. But they've done a really good job of building their team over the years. We can hate the hell out of them while still respecting them for what they've done. It's not that hard.LOL.

Excellent analysis. The Cowboys may have drafted better lately…maybe. But good drafting alone is never enough. Coaching, player development, free agent moves, trades, cap management…all things that we have not done as well as the eagles.Clear differences in how Philly and Dallas team build.
1 - Philly places more emphasis on the lines than we do. They have concluded that if you can be strong up the middle on both sides of the ball that gives you a fighting chance. Now we do spend some resources on the OL and finally used a first round pick on a DT but if Roseman had been our GM, there is no way they would have passed on Torrence in the last draft in the 2nd round for an injured TE.
2 - Philly admits mistakes quickly. They don't languish with bad coaches or potential problems or poor trends. Pederson won them a SB but something was off the last few years. Philly basically zipped him. They cut bait on Chip Kelly early. Wentz? They didn't mess around with him when things went south. They just found a way to get rid of him. Here in Dallas? Jerry struggles to admit mistakes. It will happen again this offseason if the team scuffles again - he'll keep Dak and McCarthy when it will be obvious that an offensive tear down might be needed.
3 - Roseman is just better at trades than Jerry. The value Philly gets when trading or acquiring players is ridiculous. Even go back to the Wentz trade, the way Roseman was able to manuever around and ship off mediocre players (Kiko Alonso anyone?) to help them move up to get in a position to then get Wentz. Swift this offseason was a total steal. Getting Indy's first round pick for Wentz? ***. Jerry has had a couple of decent trades but he doesn't have the skill or ability to pull off some of those things Roseman has.
4 - They manage the cap better. Now Jerry isn't awful at cap management but Philly exploits the rules around the cap better than most. Quick question for you fans. The Eagles spent a lot of money on AJ Brown, Hurts, etc. recently. Would you be surprised to know they are projected to have almost $60MM in cap space next year? They were in bad shape in 2017 with some aging guys, some bloated contracts, Wentz's big hit and yet 5 years later, Roseman rebuilt their cap, their team and they were in the SB. Jerry hasn't been able to that in 20+ year, let alone in 5.
One can argue that if you look at the last 7-8 years, Dallas has outdrafted Philly. Roseman had a run of some really bad first round picks. But building a team is more than just hitting on your first rounder. Jerry and his boob son collect players. That's it. There's no ryhme or reason or method or plan. They collect players. They just come up with a roster And then expect their hand picked coach to mold that into something workable. Roseman has a plan and builds a team. He has a clear plan in place every offseason and it shows.
We are basically anchored to a stubborn old man who despite MOUNTAINS of evidence he's not doing it right, still thinks he's smarter than everyone in the NFL.
Switch the health of Tyron/Frederick and Kelce/Johnson. That's more relevant than anything "culture" that the Eagles do.Excellent analysis. The Cowboys may have drafted better lately…maybe. But good drafting alone is never enough. Coaching, player development, free agent moves, trades, cap management…all things that we have not done as well as the eagles.
What we need is an entire organization focused on one thing: Winning a championship. What we have is an entire organization focused first and foremost on being the most financially powerful and the most “relevant” in terms of being talked about and “close” to being good. And led by an 81 years ego maniac and his fat spoiled son.
What could possibly go wrong with that formula? Lol.
Not sustainable? When it's not sustainable, it is Luck.
Being a good GM is just a measure of luck, for the most part. Roseman isn't some draft whisperer or miraculous trader.
Switch the health of Tyron/Frederick and Kelce/Johnson. That's more relevant than anything "culture" that the Eagles do.
Going to a Super Bowl isn't a barometer of anything. The only measure that matters is winning it. Arbitrary lines in the sand to determine success are stupid. I never compared him to the Cowboys anyways. Not sustainable?
They literally went to two SBs in 5 years. We haven't been to a SB in 27 years.
So now GM is all luck? LOL. Funny how the better GMs seem to be more lucky than others.
No offense, but you are kind of embarrassing yourself here.
Doesn't matter, you aren't replacing them with players of the same quality. If Kelce and Johnson were oft injured, Roseman likely would have gotten rid of them by now and replaced them.
That's the difference between him and our bumbling GM who is often too loyal for his own good.
