Is Prescott another Romo?

THIS^^^ I'm tired of the Romo comparisons. Dak couldn't carry Romo's Helmet. And Romo never had a team like this around him either. Ridiculous thread. CLOSE THREAD.
Romo had 13 Pro Bowlers in 2007 lol. Y'all are doing too much lol.

Shows flashes of talent but has the uh oh factor and will never get over the hump?
Yes because of Jerry Dumbo GM Jones, learn on the job Offensive Coordinators (see Garrett and Moore), and his puppet Head Coaches (Campo, Phillips, Garrett, McCarthy) will never get the Dallas Cowboys over the hump.

I've watched every Romo and Dak game. I can't say the same about Brees and Peyton. I do know Brees and Peyton had some crap years to end their careers. Romo health was why he retired. Those guys more so were cooked.
But if you're saying that Brees and Peyton got outperformed by Romo in the 4th quarter regular season? I'll take your word for it. Doesn't mean Romo didn't throw some costly picks in tthe 4th.
Nope he was not perfect just like some of the other greats were not perfect.

Jaw dropping. I think some of these guys wanted us to lose and this is all they can do is complain about the ugly victory.
Some of us are looking at the big picture. Coming back against a 1 win team is nothing. Should never have come to that. We want to win playoff games.

Neither is or was an elite QB plain and simple.
The fact that the JONES family see it that way is alarming and the fact that some fans agree is even more crazy

Two QB’s in the history of the league won the Super Bowl in their first full year as a starter. The defense that beat Romo that year also beat the 19-0 Patriots that had stomped all of the league that year-just for reference

Skill for skill...Romo is a better QB than Prescott. Can a team win with either one? Yes. Can the Cowboys? I don't know.

This is too funny, I guess people had a much higher appreciation for George Selvie, Henry Melton, and Jeremy Mincey than I did.

That defense in 2014 wasn’t very good. Why some fans think it was is beyond me. It ranked middle of the pack and got dissected by a one legged Aaron Rodgers in the playoffs. Plus we only had 28 sacks that season. We cut Demarcus Ware prior to that season.

So the Ravens losing a couple weeks ago to the Jags didn’t happen?
What are you talking about? I was addressing your comments about teams that lost in the beginning of the season.
The Ravens are nose-diving. We'll see if they even make the playoffs.

The nuance might be tough for you. My point was bad teams best good teams. It happens at all points in the season.

But it's more understandable that teams would be rusty at the beginning of the season than near the end of the season because many starters don't really play much until the season begins.
That's my point.
How's that for nuance? ;)

Never disagreed with that. All I said was Dak throws picks in the 1st half of games as opposed to Romo who threw them in the 4th. I don't think comparing Dak's stats through 7 years is fair to compare to Romo's at 14 years. Especially since Romo towards the end of his career took care of the ball far better than he did early on.

Its December though. All you can do is win the games in front of you. That's the objective. To win games. You don't win more games for looking pretty while doing it. What did winning by 30 do against beating the Colts? All we got was to come out flat against the Texans.

I seem to remember Rolando McClain, Carr, Church, etc. being better than George Selvie but if you want to consider Selvie as the best player on that defense than go for it.
