not true about having to be top 2-3 of your era. Look at all the QB's that played in the 70's that are in: Staubach, Bradshaw, Namath, Stabler, Griese, Tarkenton, Dawson, Starr. And the 80-90's: Aikman, Elway, Favre, Marino, Montana, Kelly, Fouts, Moon.ill ask this with a question:
Is he better than Brady, Brees or Rodgers? If yes then he is, if not then no....you have to be top 2-3 in your era to have consideration and i dont think he was...simple as that.
Great player, but not HOF
I think Romo was a better QB than several that are already in. Was he at top 2-3 qb when he played? No, but that doesn't mean he isn't a hall of famer. For the record, I think he's a long shot to get in.
