No QB can ever be thought of as Elite when the team missed the playoffs 3 times when he was the starter
Sure they can. It isn't necessarily the QB's fault a team misses the playoffs.

2012
The End
Do you really believe that? Did you even read what I posted earlier? Jurgensen was in the playoffs once as a starter and they lost that game. Fouts led the Chargers to the playoffs 4 years out of 15. He won some games even getting to the title game but that's not a lot of years going to the playoffs and they were all in a row from 79-82. That's four years to the playoffs out of 15. How many times did Ken Anderson get his team to the playoffs. If you don't think he's elite then I don't know what else to say to you.
I don't recall Tom brady or Peyton manning missing the playoffs during a season when they started every game
Fouts has more than 1 playoff win since I don't want to compare him to Romo
NE missed the playoffs in 2002 with Brady the starter. They also missed in 2008 but Brady didn't play. O/W NE has almost been like Dallas was under Landry. Brady is a big part but not the only part.
Colts missed in 97, 98 and 01.

FAIL.
1. so that means Brady missed the playoffs ONCE as a starter not THREE TIMES
2. peyton didn't play in 1997 and was a rookie in 1998.
Why people still continue to care how Romo is perceived by the media is puzzling to me.
If the predominant opinion is that the media is evil and does not know what it is talking about half the time, why is there such angst that he does not get enough respect?
