Do you really believe that? Did you even read what I posted earlier? Jurgensen was in the playoffs once as a starter and they lost that game. Fouts led the Chargers to the playoffs 4 years out of 15. He won some games even getting to the title game but that's not a lot of years going to the playoffs and they were all in a row from 79-82. That's four years to the playoffs out of 15. How many times did Ken Anderson get his team to the playoffs. If you don't think he's elite then I don't know what else to say to you.

NE missed the playoffs in 2002 with Brady the starter. They also missed in 2008 but Brady didn't play. O/W NE has almost been like Dallas was under Landry. Brady is a big part but not the only part.

If the predominant opinion is that the media is evil and does not know what it is talking about half the time, why is there such angst that he does not get enough respect?

Very few QB's have had the luxury of playing in such a piss poor division year after year like Brady - almost insuring his team a playoff spot for just showing up for their games.

Didn't say Brady missed the playoffs three times. Only once since he didn't play the 2008 season due to an injury in the title game in 07. Put your glasses on. My bad on the 97. Yes Peyton was drafted in 98.

Excellent point. They like me post because we are addicted to the Cowboys. I don't think Romo is the best QB around but it's hard to not see he's elite...with some warts. Responding to some gives me a chance to re-remember some history which I like. Mostly I'm just addicted though.
