Is This A Big Game?

If you look at a link to the article that ignorant little troll posted.

You will see this little blurb.

"Cowboys fans aren't nearly as rabid as Eagles and Steelers fans, but the Cowboys have more of a worldwide audience. If you stay in the team hotel, you'll see something pretty remarkable. No matter where the Cowboys show up (even Appleton, Wis.), there are at least 30 fans waiting for them in the lobby."

The TV ratings prove the Cowboys are America's Team. Then clowns like you show your obsession with everything Cowboys, further cementing the truth. Like another poster said, our fan base is growing regardless of success on the field or lack thereof. Cowboys fans are everywhere. Prove it to yourself by observing all the Cowboys jerseys in your stadium on Sunday. All Donkey fans live in Denver. See the difference?:lmao2:

Give me one "Reason" why you are "America's Team"?

I voted no, although Denver is 3-0, which one win was by luck. We should be able to beat Denver with our eyes closed.

About 5-10% of all NFL fans are cowboys fans so that makes them "America's Team"?
Before I pose the question (which I'm dying to ask), where did this percentage/range from?

It is a generous estimate. What percentage do you think of all NFL fans are Dallas fans?

Now I'm starting to think, the more you're here, the less intelligent you sound by the post. I'm starting to think that maybe I do hope you'll do exactly like I think you, and all your bronco buddies here today will do, and just not comeback Sunday if you lose.

Any loss is a big game when you miss the playoffs by one game BUT considering this game is on the road against an AFC opponent, I would rather not win this one then to loose to a divisional opponent.

I will be here after the game on Sunday as soon as I can but leaving the stadium and making it home always takes a while. The question is will you be here or will you be crying into your cold glass on Lonestar beer?

Sorry about that.: Work is intruding on my goofing off time. :)

I couldn't easily find a recent s-c-i-e-n-t-i-f-i-c poll (you know, the type of polls which aren't blundered through by entertainment entities such as ESPN  ), but a Harris Poll from 1999 stated that the franchise's fanbase as approximately 22% of the league's:

What's my current estimate based on an actual ten year old figure? Hmm...
I would say between 14% and 23% of the league's overall fan base.

Now then! :eek:hboy:

Based upon a league membership of 32 teams, where would you rank the Cowboys fanbase percentage amongst its peers if, in your own words, Dallas enjoys a 5%-10% of the popularity pie?

I like pseudo math.

I'm here every week win or lose. It's not hard to figure that out by the posts here. Also I don't drink beer. But you're making that getting home excuse ready now so that you can make yourself feel better about not ever showing up.

I have no doubt, at all, you won't show up to these forums on Sunday if you guys lose. Now you'll likely be on your phone, or a friends, getting on the net and to these forums the moment the game is over if you guys win but if you lose we won't see a thing from you. I have no doubt about that at all.

Since the team's popularity was scientifically documented at 22% ten years ago, it's not illogical to assume that at or around that figure now. Psst! 23% does not equal "one out of four". :)

I live an hour away from stadium and my phone doesn't have internet access so I will have to wait till I get home.
