Let me ask you about last week . . . Did you see what I saw? . . . Was there something different? . . . I believe so

Dak's whole career He has played not to lose but this week He came out to win. When he plays stiff and tight it is uninspiring and He is off

Maybe He caught lightening in a bottle . . . Maybe waiting an extra day and hearing about Jones breakout performance inspired Him . . . Maybe standing across from Micah in the locker room lit a fire under him

If Dak stays in the Zone . . CHAMPIONSHIP
What do you think is more likely?

He caught lighting in a bottle or he is what he's been for the past 7 years?

And the waterboy must keep the water at the perfect temperature

Anyway . . . If Dak lays an Egg season over

and if he plays good and the team plays bad you lose. Really you can't be that simple to think it is all the QB and the other guys stand round with their thumbs up their butts. I know for many they can't see anything past the QB this is a team sport and it will take a team to win. Sorry if you can't comprehend

Elite by whom?

us?
the media?
John McClane?
him winning vs the 49ers wont make people think hes elite

a superbowl isnt going to change the medias mind about Dak being elite either

until he retires there will always be "what if" and "hes not good" idc if he wins the next 5 superbowls they'll never call him elite

With this fanbase, there are 2 ends of the spectrum.

The Dak apologists are going to say "if we win, it's because of Dak. If we lose, it's a team sport."

The Dak haters will say "If we win, it's a team sport but if we lose, it's Dak's fault"

Duh, haven't you noticed this? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I knew if he played well against the 8-9 Bucs some of ya'll would just forget everything from the past 7 years.

I called that from a mile a away.
No, it was your way of hedging your bet.

To reserve the right to still have something to post about if it didn't go as you expected.

We see you.

I agree. Dak is an important part of this team but is not the only part. teams get to the SB elite player get you a chance at being named All Pro or MVP. Football is the ultimate team sports and QB alone are not getting teams to SB it is the cast around them and of course their own play.
Everyone loves to say this but it isn't really true. It is the same QBs playing deep in the playoffs year after year. The same QBs that are the highest rated passers in the league year after year. Sure their are exceptions but it is pretty consistent.

Not any body apologist. Dak has to play well that is fact. It is also fact that this team needs to play well. What is stupid is your hate for Dak either blinds you to the reality that this is a team sport or you do not understand this game at all. Frankly people like you I can do without. You are not here to talk football you are here to troll. So move on.

If this team wins vs SF it will be because of the play of this team, no one man alone. If we lose it will be for the same reasons. Dak clearly will take the brunt of the blame in a loss it comes with the job of QB.

We had the highest red zone scoring percentage in football this year and Dak had the highest red zone completion percentage in football.

Illegal use of facts, 15 yard penalty and loss of down..

I think it is true, Mahomes is great so are the guys who are playing on that team. Josh Allen, there is still a ton of talent on that team. No QB is doing it alone. Come post season time those others guys are big, Last week Allen did his team no favors throwing 2 ints and fumbling, but his team picked him up. I have seen it with Mahomes as well where he would have turnovers early in the game but guys stepped up to help their team win. QB play is very important but QB can't win Jack by himself, the position relies a lot on those around him from blocking to WR and TE making plays down field. Taking a 5 yard passes and turning it into a big play? I think this notion it is all on the QB belittles the excellence of other players

I think lightening in a bottle . . . He had me excited . . . I was loving the game He was playing

Why? . . What's the reason to me?

Since Dak was drafted I felt it was a great disservice to choose Him over Romo based upon my belief that it would stunt his development.

I feel many talented QBs had fallen by the wayside based upon being thrown to the wolves. . .

Favre sat Maholmes sat Rodgers sat even Aikman sat out during the playoff run of His second season . . . I think this shields the QB from developing bad habits. Just to survive the speed of the game QB's develop poor form and their ability to read defenses are forever effected

But With Dak it goes so much deeper . . . Romo was thrown a side in favor of Him . . . This has been a shadow that has followed him his whole career . . . In order to deal with this immense pressure Dak developed a false persona just to survive the public criticisms and questions. . . I think He is always in His head which causes him to hesitate

Instead of playing not to lose and try to win. . . He came out and Took it . . . I feel like He is putting it all out there and is going for the throat

I do not think He is playing any more . . . I think he got his grove back. . . . I think he played light and in the moment and showcased what he is capable of . . . Now I just hope He maintains it

Could he become the first QB since the 90’s to lead Cowboys to a championship game appearance?

And will he be the difference in finally knocking down that wall?

This is a great opportunity for him to get the monkey not only off his back but the entire franchise .

Can he take us where many have felt we’d probably not go again this era under Jethro?

If he can and if he continues playing his best ball on the biggest stages then he’s likely to vault more into the Elite category so many have denied him without more postseason success.
Seriously now the Dak fanboys have something to talk about. Dak is elite because he played one great game.

Actually Dak is a bad NFL QB. And he is not because of one bad game. He is because of evaluating his whole NFL career. One great game does not change that.

In deed he had a great game. But a great game for a bad NFL QB. If he were considered to be a good one this would have been another day at the office. Nothing special just an average outing you would expect your QB can give you even on a bad day.

So please i know how feelings work and i can only imagine how it has to be to be in love with a player. But Dak is nowhere near even average. Let him give us such kind of performances in every game for another year and you can put him in the upper tier of average NFL QBs.
