What the hell???Dak is also much more intelligent than Romo and is able to process information much quicker and able to call the right plays when needed.

LOL some of you people are hilarious!
Dak more intellegent than Romo? Hahahaha.
Keep em' coming folks!
I have to agree this streak has been an all around effort. Even the coaches get credit. Been fun to watch. The whole team is playing well. Let's see it that way. Defense is better, special teams is better, run game is better. This team looks like 2014 Cowboys with a better defense, and better special teams play. I expected to beat the Bengals. They haven't been playing well. Let's see how we rise to playing Green Bay on their field. I think we can win it, but the defense is going to have to keep us in the game. Unlike 2014 playoffs.
What the hell???
After a win yesterday, there's so much to love about this team today.
To answer the OP, something does seem diff about the offense in general. Imo, it seems more steady and smooth, not as frantic. Even without Dez yesterday, I had faith that we would get a first down on every third down. It seems that DAk just throws it to whoever is open.
- 4-1, could have been 5-0.
- Defense stepped up yesterday ( yes I know the bengals Oline is weak )
- Ball was distributed well
- Offense looked unstoppable, could have put up more but an untimely fumble messed it up
Not pathetic but beyond PREDICTABLELOL I love this new trend where fans pretend our offense was pathetic with Tony under center.
Dak's ability to run and scramble creates an entire new dynamic that Romo was unable to provide. Dak is also much more intelligent than Romo and is able to process information much quicker and able to call the right plays when needed.
I've noticed the play calls have been much more dynamic and exciting. Garrett is really mixing it up and keeping defenses off balance. But maybe the play calling hasn't actually changed.
Since Tony changes Garrett's plays and Dak runs the plays called, anyone beginning to think Tony should be sticking to the plays called more often?
Recently they has some breakdown on NFL live - Dilfer looked back at 2014 games and said Beasely was open very often for a first down but Romo would hold the ball waiting on a big play and took hits, sacks and negative plays or incomplete passes because of it.We did a lot of the Romo run around and make a play in 2014.
Everyone points to that Seattle game.. Look at how many times Romo extended plays and had to do the Houdini act just to get a guy open.

Have you ever gone back and watched a nineties Cowboys game with Aikman, Irvin, Emmitt and Jay Novacek? They were neither dynamic or exciting but amazingly effective!

that's one of my complaints about romo - wanting the big play instead of taking the smart play too often.Heck... The play that ended that season when we floated one up to Dez Beasley was open..

my point is that I have thought for a while now that part of the problem with garretts offense and predicatable playcalling etc, etc add other compliants over the years about garrets offense etc, has a lot to do with Tony. And there has been some open huge plays downfield that Dak has not thrown. Whats your point? Romo makes many more big plays than negative plays
