It appears Cowboys RB Malik Davis is the favorite to be the No. 2 RB behind Tony Pollard

Speaking of Luepke, have you (or anyone else) seen anything about him since camp has started?

I haven’t seen a mention of his name at all.

Hes not a pet cat, so good luck.

Did see a clip of him going untouched for a TD.

He looked huge compared to the other RBs. And hes only 6'1. But he is 235.

I hope to see him a lot in pre season. And not just as a FB. Like to see if he can actually run the ball at this level.

It was reported he was in the dog house becuase he complained about lack of touches.

I think he has shown some pop and would not be surprised he has a decent role.
I hope you're right Vinman. But I don't think the coaching staff would of held him out ,in such a important game, if he was the best option. Clearly Zeke was not.. Plenty players complain about lack of touches or balls thrown to them

Good thing the OC and RB coach, as well as Zeke are gone. And Davis is still here and looks to possibly be our RB2.

We're in trouble.... He wasn't even trusted when Pollard went down against SF...
No, Moore continued to use washed up Zeke. Who did nothing but drop an important pass in the redzone and not be able to get the corner on the dump offs from Dak.

I’m not opposed to Zeke but Malik can be a short yardage back or even Pollard. I think we put too much of a emphasis on that role.
Bingo again lol. It’s such a niche role that’s mainly dictated by line play. You don’t sign an RB strictly for goal line situations. Plenty of guys can hit creases, not just Zeke.

Ask Belichek and Malcom Butler. Dude really kept his best DB on the bench and lost the SB cause of a lack of DB’s lol. Coaches aren’t as logical as you’d think, they’re humans too.

Davis’s issue was his attitude, a reason why he went undrafted. In terms of talent though he’s fine:

After a couple of preseason games one of these will be a Cowboy....
  1. Dalvin Cook.
  2. Kareem Hunt
  3. Leonard Fournette
  4. Zeke

Won't happen. Drake just signed with the Colts. The others want more money than the Cowboys will pay.
