I guess Cris Carter knew what he was talking about after all.

For those saying Elliott got a raw deal, we don't have all the evidence to draw such a conclusion. I hope if Elliott is innocent of the charges, he exposes all the details of the case, especially if his ex only has her words against his.

I'm not going to play fan boy just because a Cowboy is involved. I supported Brady's suspension and if the evidence is against Zeke, I support this decision too. I just wish I knew the truth. :(

No shaming of a woman because she is a stripper or a porn actress...questioning the credibility of a person who would actually make up a profession and tell the police this was your job is not even close to being the same...there are no job titles called Sex Slave...this shows the person to be a low character witness who should have their credibility questioned..in combination with the sworn statements and text messages where she tells her friend to lie to the police just shows even more how flawed this case was.

Zeke didn't make his parents look like fools...the NFL hurt Zekes parents because a sex slave decided to do what she told everyone she would do when Zeke broke it off and ruin his career.

I'll feel sorry for the sex slave when I see evidence that points to her being a victim.

I didnt say he made his parents look like fools I said I feel for them because this is really difficult.

I dont know if there are job titles as sex slave or not, there are dominatrixes and things of this nature and it doesnt bother me or make me think they are bad people right off the bat.

So we're assuming she has a criminal background now? That's somewhat of a stretch. Even if she did it doesn't make her uncredible. For the record, I'm not saying her accusations aren't shady but the same can be said about Zeke's behavior.

Nope.

Never said that I'm assuming she has a criminal background.

I'm saying that we have a person accusing another person of a very serious crime. And that person has had her statements contradicted by numerous people as well as a DA that has stated that the evidence was 'inconsistent.'

There is a question of credibility of the accuser. The accuser also is reported to be working in a profession that has a higher than normal problem with the law and credibility. And that I would want to know her criminal background as one of the ways to judge her credibility.

Even if she has a criminal background, that doesn't mean she was not legitimately assaulted by EE. But if she has a criminal background we can be more skeptical of her credibility. Conversely, if she didn't have a criminal background we can be a little less skeptical of her credibility.

This is true legally. But it is still unfair and assuming you are just a peon like the rest of us, your employer won't face much PR backlash for firing you. The NFL on the other hand could, if enough people cared about these unfair policies and how it compromises the NFL product on game day.

I hear you Links but you're assuming it's unfair. There are 4 independent investigators who looked at this. There's certainly something here, IMO. Is it worth 6 games? I don't know. What I do know is that Garrett even came out and mentioned Zek a week or so ago regarding some advice he gave to Zek about who he wants to be (or something along those lines). It's starting to make sense now. I think these guys may know a bit more than us. In any event, it might get dropped down to a couple of games but I'm starting to get concerned about Zek and his decision making.

but Chris Carter said he wasn't going to be suspended for DV but rather not being cooperative or something of that nature.

because of the culture that is in there the press will go nuts for the next several days going to be a full blown circus

rightfully so. This organization has a lot to answer for with these types of issues. They bring it on themselves in most instances.

meanwhile they raised ticket prices this season.

Don't know the truth because they won't tell us. If this goes to court it should come out.

Then why 6 games???? Brown got one for far worse just last season.

And also, it's been proven she was trying to get a friend to lie about it @Zordon
People are explaining that they made a mistake with Brown and are "righting" the ship with Zeke. That's what local radio is saying. NFL dropped the ball w brown but they are getting it right, it just happens that the first time they get it right is w Zeke

When the mere mention of "Mara" invokes walls of text from you, what does that say? Once the regular season starts, we'll see less and less of you.
Again, when every reason for the Cowboys faults revolve around Mara then that will evoke more responses. I guess you wouldn't know that because you clearly aren't that active. Funny how you call me out for not participating in th future but based on the past (facts, not speculation) you are much less active than myself. Keep trolling homey, I'll be here all day.

Since you like to pick apart my posts, I'm sure you'll notice that my activity has been much less over the last 2 weeks. So before you bring that up, that's because I was in the mountains of CO with little to no internet access. What's your excuse?

Whoa, whoa, whoa...eaaaaaaasy there fella. Before you know it the pitch forks will come out and you'll be burned at the stake for being an alleged Giants fan. First commandment of being a Cowboys fan "Though shall blame everything on John Mara". Second commandment "Zeke, nor any Cowboy, can do wrong".

Just a fair warning from someone who may know from experience.

You two should get a room. After the salary cap punishment, Josh Brown situation, the lead investigator of DV issues describing herself as a "rabid Giants fan", the handling of Brady, and Mara being one of the most influential voices on the competition committee do you really fault people for thinking this way?
