PPV numbers don't equate to McGregors pockets. There isnt any way he was going to make this kind of money on a straight MMA fight. Floyd is greedy and is looking for additional big payouts yes, and this presents the best opportunity, but he is already made more money then Conor could possibly ever imagine fighting. So yes, Conor needed Floyd MORE THAN the other way around.
This is the most fair way to do the fight. Floyd is fighting for legacy. Conor is the one that challenged him to a boxing match. Why? Because thats the only way he gets the payday he is looking for. Floyd didnt go out there promoting that he could win an MMA fight, which would be stupid.
Again, this is a dumb thing to say. He has NO experience kickboxing. Conor McGregor at least has boxing experience.
It is plainly obvious to me that your entire take is that you just don't like Floyd, which is your prerogative, but it definitely skews your opinion, and makes you look like you don't know what you are talking about.Conor has no pro experience boxing. He has no pro or amateur experience kick boxing. I'm beginning to think you're a complete waste of time to read.
An MMA fight between the two allows both to bring their strengths into the fight. A boxing bout doesn't.
The original point of MMA is to bring different disciplines together to see which is the best. This is the perfect example of that. The problem is only one man will be in that ring.
I'm surprised McGregor agreed to a straight up boxing match. At least kickboxing would have been better.

He's probably the best technical fighter of all time, but all around, nah. He doesn't crack the top-5.Don't like Floyd? He's the best boxer possibly of all time. Liking him has nothing to do with it. If you truly want to have a contest between two fighters of different disciplines do it with a ruleset that allows both fighters to use their strengths. Otherwise it's not a true contest.
There's one in each Zone. How does this thread qualify for the Sports Zone? It was perfect in "Off Topic". Then I guess Rocky Balboa vs Thunderlips also qualifies as Sports Zone material. Or how about Bruce Lee vs Muhammad Ali?
That makes half sense. There's one in each Zone.

Why are you surprised? He's going to make more on this fight, then any other fight, and Floyd has no incentive to do anything except straight up boxing
Because I would hope it has to do with winning as well
I'll have the little one, so maybe some BWW to-go, Loc! We both **** up some BWWCan't wait.....whatcha got cooking that night for the fight @Trouty
