That would have been a no brainer if Bosa was there. I was "OK" with Elliott over Ramsey although I still think they should have taken Ramsey.

But passing on Bosa would have been insane.

And if you have the best Oline in football, why do you need a guy like Zeke to get great production? Horrible use of assets.

Eagles play their next three games at home against winnable opponents. It's done and they deserve it. They went out and got Jernigan and Darby to add to an already stacked defense. Got Jeffrey on a prove it deal to help out their young QB. Their oline looks like top 3 in the league. Meanwhile we go 13-3 and get fat and happy. Benson Mayowa and Kyle Wilber are getting significant PT on this team. I'm totally disgusted in the front office. How do you not go for the jugular after getting so close last season?

We should probably tank the rest of the season and work on that all-important draft position.

Put Zeke on a team with a poor to average line and he doesn't get any of those awards. I would take Bosa over Zeke all day every day as well.

I've known a lot of doom and gloom realists who were wrong and things turned out well. However, when the doom does happen, they are quick to point out that they were correct and predicted it. I am not aiming this at you in particular.

But if the doom and gloomers are correct right now that the Eagles are the class and will win the division, it can't really be hindsight crowing. They are calling their shot now.

Many a sure thing have crashed and burned on the way to winning a title--we won't know for a while. Let's don't crown them yet. The post says that the division is already lost--not yet.

Just don't get some fans. Are the Eagles a good, sure, great team, not even close. Washington, well still an 8-8 team at best. Eagles barely beat Giants and Chargers and probably should have lost both games. Carolina had two chances to win in the end more to poor blocking than anything else. 49ers should have beaten Commanders yesterday. We play the Eagles twice and Washington twice, nothing is decided. Things change week to week in the NFL, just ask the Packers. How will the Boys do while Zeke is suspended (or if he is suspended) remains to be seen. Will we be 13-3 at the end of the regular season, who knows, unlikely but we just do not know what will go down. I have hope, high hopes and maybe they will be dashed or maybe not.

Our method of going for the jugular is trying to slice it with a butter knife. It's a process that is likely to fail because by the time it's completed some of the key components of the process have moved on.

As far as a GM I like what the Cowboys have done in the draft. As far as improving the team, that means evaluation who sucks and getting rid of those players. Are you pretending you dont have to do that? Is talking about who sucks gonna make you cry?

We have 5 East games to play. We win those we win the East most likely given history of the East. Even 5-1 probably wins the East. It's too early to give up.
