It's October and the division is already lost

There you go being stupid again. The Cowboys were scheduled a harder schedule by design by the NFL because they were divisional champs last season.

I've always know where everyone played and lost or won... you have poo for brains for saying otherwise.

You always knew where everyone played but then said above that the only tough team the Eagles played was the Panthers.

LOL. Yeah, it's all of us who has poo for brains. Haha.

Oh and just because the NFL tried to give the Cowboys the toughest schedule, it sometimes doesnt' work out like that because the NFL has no idea who is actually going to be good or bad in a given season. Further, by the end of the year, the Cowboys will likely have played the tougher slate. As I told you above, you ninny, the rest of the schedule is much tougher for the Cowboys than the Eagles. But to date, the Eagles have not played a noticeably easier schedule.

Both played the Giants. Both played the Cards. Eagles have played the Skins, we played the Rams. A wash. We played GB. They played KC. A wash. They have played the Panthers.

The Cowboys were divisional champs last season and so were given a harder schedule by design by the NFL.

And that obviously doesn't mean it was "harder" based on the first 5 games, because that's been repeatedly shown to not be the case.

From here on? Yes, it gets much harder. But that's a cause for concern, not a reason for optimism. The 5-1 Eagles schedule gets easier, and the 2-3 Cowboys schedule gets harder.

Buy me one and I'll wear it.

Sorry, I make it a point not to financially support mediocrity.

Literally, you just said on this page:

The iggles have had a cupcake schedule with the exception of the Panthers.

They played the Chiefs too. So either you had no idea they played the Chiefs or, worse, you think the Chiefs are a cupcake. Neither position reflects well on your analytical skills.

It really is an interesting case study when you look at the two approaches.

The strength of the Eagles has been their DL. In the offseason, they threw more resources at making their DL even better than it was - they spent a first round pick on a pass rushing DE and traded with the Ravens to get Jernigan, a better version of Logan, who they let walk in free agency. They didn't just assume they could get by with the guys they had remaining like Cox and Graham who are very good players.

Contrast that with our approach. Our strength is the OL. Our approach wasn't to throw more resources at it or look to improve it. We took the position that we had three great players there so let's just assume they can keep the OL playing at a high level and we can patchwork at least one of the OL positions (LG or RT depending on what they did with Collins). It's failing thus far.

The Eagles had some very clear holes and they went out and addressed them with proven veterans. We did not. We half-assed it again in FA. Its not surprising one team has taken a step forward and one has apparently regressed.

But FYI, the Eagles will have some interesting offseason decisions. Jernigan and Jeffrey both will be FAs and they don't have a ton of cap space. So they are going to have to be creative in keeping both.

Philly also has an excellent Oline as well I might add. Amazing what they have done with the trades of Bradford, Murray, and that corner after the Chip Kelly debacle. Also, gettting Blount gave that team a different identity this year IMO. And this is with Sproles now on IR. I feel sick I'm envious of Philly! Lol.

The Cowboys spent a first round pick on a pass rushing DE but that just hasn't paid off yet. The Cowboys OL is clearly not playing as well as it did last year. They gambled on Green and Collins taking up the slack of Cleary and Free's absence and it hasn't paid off so far but I think it will get better. I look at it different than you.

Not really the point I was making.

But at least you can admit it. And give credit when someone else has actually done a good job. Some fans lose all rational sense and can't give anyone else any credit.

They've rebounded incredibly well and incredibly fast from the debacle that was Chip Kelly. Credit them for realizing that he wasn't the right man for the job and pulling the plug.

Panthers are the only hard game they won. I don't give them credit for losing to KC.

And we played GB with Aaron Rodgers and the iggles don't play GB at all. We do play KC so you can't call that a wash with GB.

You have to give it to the Philly FO and their new coaches. They were successful in getting players to help their scheme and both offense and defense are excelling this year like the Cowboys last year.

Unfortunately, we did not improve this year and our OL is dramatically worse. The LB, CB & Safety play has been lackluster and substandard to say the least. Without Zeke for 6 games, we could really slide down the stack and might as well tank for next year's high draft pick for a good DE and OG in the second round.

We don't go 21 years with no success for no reason. Jerry won't let the team have a legit coach anymore. He wants ALL the pride if the team does good. Sadly, the team will never go anywhere with clueless puppet coaches. Thanks Jerry!
Wonder why you didn't post this last year?

I know everyone in the NFL was envious of our draft last year. I mean we got the ROY at QB and the leagues leading rusher with 2 picks! However, all these teams like the Rams and now Philly turn their teams around in a year or two and here we are back down again. Something is inherently wrong with this organization and I'm sick of it! Adapt or move on Jerry already!! You're the smartest businessman in the business, but you can't field a winning team every year!! Why?!?!

So when factoring in strength of schedule, you throw out the losses? So then when looking at schedules, using your bizarrely funny logic, we have to throw out the GB and Rams games......... because we lost and we cant get credit for them. In fact we don't have a win over any good teams at all. How's the compute in your silly analysis?

We aren't talking about future schedules. Only schedules to date. The Eagles have not played an easier schedule TO DATE than us.

At this point, I can't tell if you are just trying to troll people or really are this obtuse.

This staff has already been outcoached by not one, but two rookie coaching staffs. And one of those where they got pounded for four quarters and were never in the game.

Meanwhile, you watch staffs come into Philadelphia and Washington and quickly turn horrible situations around while "the process" continues for nearly a decade, with the same inconsistant, underwhelming results.

And you can look up and down these teams rosters, this team's player talent compares with anybody. It's not lack of players, its lack of coaching.

I just hate the word Tank only 5 games into the season when you have a healthy QB and healthy team. I'm pretty sure we have no one out on IR, except Zeke and his 6 games, but even he will be back. Just can't fathom it right now even though I know we are bad.

At the very worst, the two schedules have been pretty equal thus far.

So any rationale that suggests the Eagles are really only 5-1 because they've played this cupcake schedule to date compared to us is bogus. And silly. And stupid.

You're so stupid. I judge the Cowboys and iggles the same. They both had 2 hard games so far. The iggles lost one and the Cowboys lost both plus lost one they should not have lost to the Rams.

Just give up on this. The Eagles schedule to this point has been the more difficult one based on the actual, factual numbers, and not opinion. That dog just won't hunt.

The rest of the way? Sure, that 1st place schedule kicks in for the Cowboys and the Eagles schedule gets easier. Nobody's disputing that.

But that makes it that much harder for Dallas to overcome and not any reason for optimism.

Ditto. I'm not buying NFL apparel until the league gets fixed.

It's the best "vote" any of us have. Our wallets. Why support something you're not happy with?
