Why because we see *** is going on, how bad this team has been handled this off season? Truth hurts

It's hilarious actually. The on-field product sucks. The off-season decisions were poor. And the results show that the process isn't working.

But yeah, rather than blame the people responsible, attack your fellow fans who expect more.

Makes sense...

The meetings that lie ahead between Dak and Wentz will prove interesting, however, it's now quite evident that Wentz has come into his own as Philly's QB, now that he has the help he sorely required at the receiver positions. By all appearances, the upcoming games with Philly should be barn burners, no doubt about that.

I fear that our defense will be ill-prepared to defend their offense as aptly as their defense will be prepared to cope with our offense. As much as it bothers me to admit as much, Philadelphia's defense is significantly superior to ours in their ability to play soundly vs. both the run and the pass. Sadly for us, all in all, they've come a long way toward improving their performance over what they were last year.

To be totally honest, I surely wouldn't be betting the barn upon our chances of overcoming them to win the Eastern Division. Needless to say, it's certainly not written in stone but all indications of our future success seem to bear an ominous appearance at this juncture. Our defense will be obliged to better itself considerably in due time. Let's just hope things change substantially to turn things into our favor. Let's face it -- right now, dark clouds are looming ahead.

It’s going to be a long finish to this season. Philly looks superior in every way. They play with a physical style Dallas lost in one offseason on offense and never had on defense.

The eagles always get injuries and screw things up however and haven’t won a playoff game since 2008 so they have a lot to prove also.

"Dramatic"? More like realistic. This Cowboys team isn't competing with this Eagles team. Not the way both are playing. Maybe you need to accept that?

There is absolutely nothing realistic about declaring a division winner 6 weeks in when the teams in question have 1, 2, and 3 losses, respectively.

Any objective, unemotional observer would agree.

Its not over but it is a long tough fight back to division contention. Much harder with Elliott out 6 games.

Mathematically? Sure. There's always that chance.

But this team will have to win back some faith. Start playing much better, string consecutive wins together, and start looking like some semblance of the team that went 13-3 last year.

These two games where they've managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory have not only shaken confidence, but they've created a sizeable hole to dig themselves out of too.

Nothing "realistic" about thinking this sorry Cowboys team will suddenly turn things around and compete, simply because fans want them to either.

Well, I guess we can revisit this in a couple of months.

If we had Landon Collins, Oliver Vernon, Reuben foster, and Leary. We would be winning.

Two of those were draftable by the cowboys, one was a free agent, and one was our free agent.

Just imagine Fletcher Cox and Travis Kelce over Mo Claiborne and Gavin Escobar. Those two picks would've made a difference on both sides of the ball.

Eagles play their next three games at home against winnable opponents. It's done and they deserve it. They went out and got Jernigan and Darby to add to an already stacked defense. Got Jeffrey on a prove it deal to help out their young QB. Their oline looks like top 3 in the league. Meanwhile we go 13-3 and get fat and happy. Benson Mayowa and Kyle Wilber are getting significant PT on this team. I'm totally disgusted in the front office. How do you not go for the jugular after getting so close last season?

I have said this since January and got reemed by pollyannas on this site. Our offseason was the worst in recent memory and now we are paying for it.

What? No. Dak has outplayed Wentz in both the times they faced each other. He’ll get two more chances this year.

Wentz does not own Dak.

Technically, they really only faced once. Prescott played like 10 seconds in the 2nd game.

All these people praising the eagles... How many of you had them at 5-1? None?

OK. Shut up.

Yes, because that's what important at this point........... what people thought, not the actual results on the field.

That's the beauty of sports, once they start playing games, it helps you assess how good/bad your team and other teams are.

The Eagles are clearly a better team at this juncture. Even if people want to argue the offenses are similar (although I might quibble with that at this point), the Eagles defense is so much better than ours.

While Phil is defintely the front runner in division we still have 2 games left with them which could help determine the division.

But yea, they certainly are looking good. We might very well be on the outside looking in with our best hope a Wild Card slot.
